Simply the best of the RGV 250s, with that beautiful banana swing arm which was missing on the rest of the RGVs, I was lucky enough to own the RGV, TZR 250 SPR and Aprilia RS 250, I also had an RD 400E, RD350 LC and RD500 LC, I loved strokers, the smell, the sound and the power band, IMO it's sad that todays generation will never experience the thrill that two strokes provided, when you hit the power band it was like you were suddenly rocket powered.
My Frist bike as a 17yo, 1994. Never riden before, at least never had a licence to ride a bike regularly but knew how to "operate" a motorcycle. I bought it off a schoolmate who's family was all into MotoX etc so he could ride. I saw how much HighSchool Girls talked to him about riding his bike at our HighSchool he would rock up on, and park. I begged my Parents to lend me $5000NZ , (so cheap in hidesight) to buy it off him. I did. The first 3 weeks was me riding out to anywhere that had hills to teach myself how to "Hill Start" the thing, learning to understand the feel of the Clutch engagement point etc. .. Eventually, I became confident on it some 3 months later. Best memories of that bike, I remember well, was pulling on the the Motorway, in the on-ramp lane, coming up to 100km's ready to join the flow of traffic holding 3rd gear around, Revs around 7k ish,, subtle sweet spot, just before the Powerband, then once I was on the Motorway now, with only open lanes ahead of me, winding it back to 8k rev's instantly launching into he aggressive PowerBand, and off we go to the stars !! I eventually put it into a Porche who Breakchecked me in the wet!! I bought a Honda MC28, NSR250 a few years later and it never had anywhere near the same fun of the RGV powerband. I totally get why Aprillia used them for their RS250's. I REALLY miss my original RGV250M, last of the "Banana Arm" RGV's until the VJ23 which I could never afford, especially not now !!
NO OLVIDEMOS QUE ES DE COLECCIÓN HOY EN DÍA UNA RG DE ESE AÑO, A ESTA UNIDAD SE LA VÉ INMACULADA, ESTARIA BUENO Q SEA SOLO PARA EXPOSICIÓN, Y PASEARLA, NO CAGARLA A PALOS, YA Q TIENE SUS AÑOS Y ES CLÁSICA, EN FIN, BUEN VIDEO, SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA......................................
I had the vj21. I decided to give up biking after owning that as I thought my time on this earth might be limited. 30 years on I decided to buy a zzr1100.
Très exigente et taillée pour les pro mais en vente libre circulation vraiment pas fait pour s en tenir aux régles de la circulation en vigueur.une troueuse a permis, dur dur de se calmer avec ce genre de bombinette...

Thank god I bought an RD 350…yes the KR1’s & RGV’s were gorgeous pieces of kit, but in real world road use, the 350ypvs was the master.

and now they are worth a mint
A nice original and fully serviced example yes, we like what we sell..
