We were drinking and got into an argument while riding around.I felt something wasn’t right so I told him to let me out the car and I’ll walk.He said 🥷🏾I’m going to kill you so I grabbed the steering wheel and made him stop.When I got out the car he got out and walked around towards me and pulled out his 9mm and shot me once in the neck,face,3 times in the chest,2 times in both shoulders once in the upper right arm and 2 times in the upper left arm.I thought to myself that well you’re about to die.We think it were jealousy because I made it out the hood.One month before his trial he jumped his girlfriend and her 22 year old son empty a entire 9 mm clip in his point blank range the exact way he did me 4 blocks from where he tried to kill me. Also the DA rule his death justifiable homicide and her son were never charged.

Everything in me told me *not to go.* I listened.
It didn’t feel right and at the time, we lived a different kind of Life.

I tried to move in silence and stopped telling people my plans even my so called best friend. I found out that she had somehow installed spyware on my phone. She needed to know every detail of my life just that bad. Even down to my phone and internet activities.

When I moved to NY from TX, every suspicion of jealousy and hate was confirmed. So bad that my grandmother told me exactly what this sister in the video told me. “Never go back!” In fact I blocked a dude, 50-60 something years ol, last year. Dude publicly hated on the fact that I got a promotion on FB. Even wrote a comment wishing that I get wrote up at work. A couple of days ago, I found a message in my block folder of him criticizing and complaining a favor I did for someone else. I’m a professional artist. Very successful considering. I’ve seen people do the most because of jealousy.

I was the crutch for my family and love ones. My husband decided to take a job in another state, things changed and I realized that I don’t owe anybody anything. My family in Jamaica thinks because I live in America I can afford to give them more than I have been given them. I noticed it's not about love anymore it's " what are you giving me" I have gotten attitudes, I have been told " no one has never done anything for me'' they want me to buy them house, car, pay for college, etc. I have come to the realization it's time to cut them off. I will be going to Jamaica and non of my family knows I'M coming. I will stay at a resort and return to New York without their knowledge. I went back to my home town the other day to attend a funeral, and some a few of the attendees went to my old high school back in the day. After catching up, let's just say I was disappointed in their life choices (or lack of)

I have a regular job and i moved out of Detroit to southgate then to Lincoln Park. 1st my house was broken into then my car was stolen out of my driveway. I never looked back
We have a "hood" in the white community as well. It might not be a physical location but it's certainly a mindset and once you leave "that" hood you should never go back to. I left my hood at the ripe old age of 18, traveled and worked all over the world and never looked back. Seeing things from the outside, from a different perspective was pure gold for me. Of the 30 countries I been to and lived in 7 I have never had a problem getting along with anyone and these countries were predominantly non-white. I'm not trying to virtue signal here what I'm trying to say it a lot of the stuff people bring down on themselves starts in the mind.

Leaving is hard because money can only buy material things. It can't buy friendships, connections, and the other intangible things that make us human. So I understand why some don't leave. Especially if they have deep ties to the community. That being said, it's still in your best interest to leave after achieving a certain level of success. As the old saying goes "it's lonely at the top". And it's also wise not to be flashy. Hood folks love to look rich and have fragile egos.

Dude is 6'^6 slender build and I am 5'9" 160 pounds. I blocked his phone number and blocked him on all social media apps. When I told my family I wanted to move from Atlanta to LA within a year time frame I lost everything I owned and was homeless and getting gangstalked by the police. Every family member turned thier back and even had my kids going against me. I still left anyway knowing if I didn't leave my life was in danger. Everytime I went back to visit its never felt safe. And the last time I went home I almost had 2 accidents back to back. I'm just waiting for God to move my adult kids out of there. None of what I said is a coincidence, it was done to stop my purpose.

Ive visited that restaurant on multiple occasions and Ive seen the owner of that restaurant and even shook his hand...As a grown ass man myself as I didnt know him personally, but this murder really hit me hard and it hurts...I cant imagine what the employees are feeling.
