i would love to express my worry about APM. steve, APM is lengthy and needs time just like SBL. its so paining to see APM being treated like other exams yet the examiner knows students need time just like SBL. its heart breaking that no one wants to talk about the time for APM. What i we supposed to do. Examining team will put also numericals to evaluate, on which time. This is not fair and we will we wrong to say ACCA wants our money for that paper? so that we can resit that paper all the time.APM is like SBL. it should be allowed lots of time
Hi there! I agree, time pressure is one of the main challenges. But I think you can get around that with good exam technique--you can get a pass with efficient writing. I'll be putting a series of APM videos up soon.

They are very similar! But not the same. Sales Quantity Variance goes to the original budget, the direct mats Mix and Yield use flexed and actual results
Hi steve, I wanted to know, is it necessary to practice all the questions of Section C from the exam kit?? There are 65 questions in the Kaplan Exam kit & they are backdated, should I do all 65 questions or just do the past paper questions from ACCA'S Website including the questions from the Examiners report??
Hi Kevin, it depends on how much time you have, and how you are doing with the questions you've been trying. I think it's difficult to do the whole exam kit. If you do some from each section, and you can completely them 60-70% correctly, you are good to go. Leave time to do the past papers on the ACCA site as well as you suggested.
