I live across the road from a fantastic Aussie beach & want to learn to paint so I can paint it in all its moods. We get amazing sunsets as the sun disappears below the sea directly in front of my house. I’m over 60 & never painted before so it’s a bit daunting. Thanks for this vid.

This is so gorgeous! I love the orangey red area. I love your tutorials, there are so many others, though very good, but there is no instruction spoken. Often times no materials list, very daunting for a beginner, so thank you very much for speaking, and the accent is a lovely enhancement! 😄

This turned out so good! I did a beach and sunset painting too but I have never used masking tape or rulers to perfect lines, I will have to try them out in my future paintings! 😃

I've been trying your examples in attempting to do my beach scene, and as simple as you make them, they still take practice, for me anyway. I'm combining two of your videos on one painting, and the tips and tricks are so incredibly helpful! Not sure if it helps the channel, but I definitely end up watching each video many times, haha. Watching them over and over builds up my courage! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful talents! I'm so happy to have found your channel! I love your videos! Question: when you have lots of paint on the brush and you clean it, where do you put that much paint? And when cleaning you brushes for the night, do you wash it in the sink or discard dirty water in sink? Wondering if it's bad for my old pipes.

I wipe the bulk of paint off the brush, then i wash it in my studio sink which runs out the pipe into my garden, Im using acrylic paint.
