mAh ratings without context is useless. The old battery has a nominal voltage of 3.85v, not the usual 3.7 which would throw off true battery capacity and already makes the capacity a non standard measurement for traditional Li-Ion.
Looks like a great piece of kit hope it performs as good as it seams , go well with the drone for starting out on UA-cam. Ive just discovered your channel you give a great in depth review,well worth watching before you buy any new kit . Keep them coming,nice one.

Hi Dustin great review thanks. I still running my two Osmo Action Gen Ones. I use them both almost every day on my eBike. Hoping you can help me with answera to a couple questions. Does the internal storage kick in automatically once the SD card is full? Does the battery pack also act as a power pack, or is the C port for charging only? (Just found out apparently it does as act as a power pack fyi), I hope this helps
Does the bluetooth remote work the same with these or have better features like, starting two cams at the same time and start recording with record button of the remote?
Why no HDMI out? It would be nice to have it plugged into my Cineview transmitter for a discreet livestream connected to my Atem switcher. A Gopro is still useful for something.
@ppdrum This camera cannot shoot in 5.3K 60P, has no GPS, and can not shoot closeups. What is so innovative? You have not shot with either this camera or the Hero 12 or 13, right. But I respect your right to say anything you feel.
@@markr041 4k is more than good enough and closeups are useless on an action camera , I prefer better low light ,dynamic range ,longer battery life , no overheating , no crashing software to some stupid add on lenses .... Also the DJI action 5 Pro is cheaper I ditched GOPRO when they failed to innovate and make only tiny changes to each new model , there is no real change between the 12 and 13 gopro the software keeps crashing and the camera keeps over heating ... Im on the DJI 4 right now
@@markr041 GPS can be added if connected to a smart watch or optional accessories ...Also the dji has dual OlED large clear touch screens so settings can be adjusted on both screens, pressure gauge and altitude gague
@@markr041 Also the DJI should look better at 4k than th gopro at 5k because it has a larger sensor and larger pixels will gather more light and detail

How many extra hours does the charging handle provide?
