Good idea,
But, it would be easier if write one formula between the general value of 1st Jan. 20000 and 31st Dec. 2020, then change the format of the cell to be date
General number of 1st Jan 2000 is 36526 and of 31st Dec 2020 is 44196
So the formula would be :
=RANDBETWEEN(36256,44196) now the format cell to be changed date

I find doing a randbetween the start date as general and end date as general then formatting as a date

I'm sure you could make a more advanced formula or a spreadsheet setup that would account for that issue - I have made large templates for this in the past - but I've found quick formulas like this are ok for many scenarios.
