Hi Stefan, Thank you for another wonderful video! I have walked the Camino de Santiago twice, the first time in 2015 with my daughter, and again in 2018, this time alone. I walked from St. Jean Pied de Port, on the French side of the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, about 500 miles. Almost everyone on the pilgrimage carries a scallop shell. Both times I carried a Swiss army knife and used it every day to cut bread and cheese etc. I wish that I had known about the Le St. Jacques knife before my hike, as it would of been a wonderful companion. If I ever go back to walk the Camino again, I shall take one with me! Regards from the UK!

Every time I watch one of your "knife" reviews I gain ten pounds. I hope the knife manufacturers appreciate the quality of your reviews. Both for the content and the production values. They could learn a lesson.

I really enjoy your videos. The beautiful knives you present, the history and the quality of your videos really make a wonderful change from the "tactical" theme currently in vogue. Thank you.

I have to complement you on your high quality and interesting videos. They are so very classy and informative and done with a passion and appreciation for all knives. It's great to see them put into use for your classy introductions. Better than seeing them cut cardboard like most North American reviews. I look forward to enjoying more of them. I've always loved traditional knives like grandpa carried.

    Peace,
    Stephan

That cheese, and bread looked fantastic! I have a knife with the bumble bee, and a cork screw. with birds eye Damascus, and warthog scales. I think its called a LaQuille.

I loved the video as always. I received my St Jacques knife today and it's very pretty but I'm trying to read between the lines of your review. Are you a little disappointed in it? Should they have used a different steel? I agree that the back spring is pretty tight but that should get better with use and personally I don't mind the screws in the handle. The scales and the liners are very well done but maybe not quite as perfect as my Fontenille Pataud.

Always a pleasure to watch your reviews! Beautiful knives. The Juniper version seems to have some space between the spring and liners?

    Moin Stefan,

I believe your compatriot, Anne-Sophie Mutter, is presently on the final leg of the pilgrimage route. I doubt that she has a knife with her.
Thank you for another fine presentation. Religious symbolism is always interesting, and perhaps your interpretations are indeed the correct ones.
