    That is one hell of a restoration very impressed with your ability to do gunsmith work and craftsmanship of a lost art. I have never been so lost for words how great a job you can do.

      Yeah I think the guy told me it was left in the deer stand or in his boat or something these guys in these hill's really don't take real good care of them. Gives me a endless supply of guns to restore for content that I don't have to fake, like most restorations on UA-cam. Thanks for the compliment means alot to know your work is appreciated.

      @@DeathProofProductions I have my grandpa’s Browning BAR 30-06. I have been trying to get it shooting better. Maybe a rebuild kit and some reloading. Mine is in much better shape than the one you restored. Before you worked your magic anyway.
      I am still working on the Remington model 11. A lot of light corrosion on the receiver and octagon barrel. Almost done with the wood. You make it look easy. Keep up the good work. Learning a lot from the videos.

      Sorry I meant to say model 12.

      Thanks for the compliment means alot to know your work is appreciated. Glad to see you making progress on the 12. Mines all but done, gotta blue the barrel but just don't have the time. Like I've heard before you can't die if you got unfinished projects.

      Thanks we've got alot more vids like this that were working on. It takes a little more time since I'm not gonna do unprofessional work just to upload a video like some channel's. Plus I had two surgeries last year really slowed the channel down but now that I'm all healed up were back in business.

    Remington also made an automatic centerline rifle, the model 7400 and the 740.
    I don't know the difference between the two.

    • @DeathProofProductions
      @DeathProofProductions  4 місяці тому

      The Browning is basically a copy of the 740 and 7400. The 740 came out in The late 40s or early 50s and the Browning was released in 67. The 7400 is a 740 with some modifications to speed up the manufacturing.

    I always watch you bike videos and this was the first gun video. I really enjoyed it. I dabble a bit with firearms as I’m prior service army infantry and a retired police officer. I have built a half dozen AR’s of different calibres and lengths as well as some black powder guns. I have all the tools for AR’s and a shit load of tools for everything else. I sure would like to bend your ear about an old shotgun handed down to me from my dad. It’s a Winchester model 25, is that possible? Thanks!
