Almost impossible for something like that to happen in broad day light again, not just foreign journalists on the front lines, but independent journalists who post local blogs and share videos. Nobody will be able to take China seriously if they ever refute footage that was taken by hundreds of people at the same time, rather than a dozen shaky cameras in an unlit square.

Its clear now the protests were not about the extradition bill. The bill was officially withdrawn, yet the riots persist. Sure, there are four remaining demands (some of which are unreasonable), but will the protests actually stop if those four demands are met? Or will there be more new demands?
