- A security guard was stabbed on a Metro train near the Hollywood station. The attacker was shot and killed. It's the latest fatal incident on public transit, with several passengers concerned about safety.

Metro security did exactly what they were supposed to do. They identified and eliminated a threat to the riding public. The editor of this news station wanted to spin this story for eyeballs no matter how stupid and inane the reporting.
What’s sad is that security guard will most likely get fired for even drawing his weapon, regardless if he was attacked. I worked contract security and Metro didn’t allow law enforcement nor security to make physical contact

Los Angeles has raised the police budget every year. Police funding was never reduced. Find some new bs to spread.

Every year, for the last 6 years, the LAPD has lost $150 million dollars a year from their annual budget. The funds were allocated to fund more local community social workers offices.
That and (AND) 1,000 police officer positions. The strength of the LAPD went down from 10,000 to 9,000 police officers. Currently, the strength of the LAPD is at about 8,500 sworn police officers.

Most likely one of the overwhelming homeless people. California is home to 28% of the US homeless population There are 50 states!, hardly and equal distribution of these homeless among the states. Likely because of the year-round warm weather and makes it easy for them to live outside.
Not really "warm" year round. You won't get frost bite, in the metro city but there are mountains with snow even now
