I'm so glad I found this tutorial again! I recently chopped all my hair off to donate it to a non-profit organization and have been looking for new styles to try. I seen this tutorial a few years ago and my hair was just too heavy (very thick and a lot of hair) to achieve this look with the volume you have. My hair is now above my shoulders and I'm super excited to give it a shot! Love all your tutorials girl! You explain it very well! Thanks Darlin! ♡♡♡
I have slippery hair too and just started learning how to tease my hair. Second day hair works better. I have straight hair, and my hair teases better with some curl in it. I use dry shampoo and hairspray to help give my hair some "stick" and I prefer a teasing brush. I use several smaller sections instead of three big ones like Kate did. Mine doesn't stand up on it's own like Kate's, but it does give it volume and when I pin it, I push up to make it bigger. Hope that helps!
I have super thin and fine hair, so I was pleasantly surprised that this worded and looked super cute! Thank you so much! I'm wearing it for a holiday dinner I'm waitressing! :)
Super cute!! I'm new to your page & I'm wondering if you have a tutorial on how you style your hair after bring washed? So obviously blow dry 1st but then do you curl your hair & how do you set it? All the tutorials I watch your hair seems to have hair spray in it to start with. When I tease my hair it doesn't poof up like yours. I love all your styles!!
Hello, nice video! How do you describe your haircut to ypur hairstylist? I want your haircut, it would be so much easier to style for me! Please and thank you :)
Hi Kate! I have very fine, very slick hair. If I try to tease, it just doesn't happen. Even if I can get it slightly ratted up, it's never enough for the hair to stand up on it's own, like yours, and it falls out quickly. Any tips? I've tried using a comb and using a teasing brush. I've also tried using a dry texturizer to add some grip, but still no luck.
Cute. But honestly, I already love your hairdo at the starting point. ❤

Kate's blog has tutorials on how to blow dry, tease, and curl your hair. So you can find a tutorial for pretty much every stage in the process.

If you have a stacked bob with an undercut, not as easy as it looks. Tried this style and fell flat before I even left the house.
it's not bad
doesn't teasing destroy your hair
Only if you drag a comb thru it to get the snarls out. Just be careful. And don't do it every day.
but whyyy talking so much on this kind of videos ????
It's an instructional video. What were you expecting?
