    The Innovators Skills: Observing
    Making compelling observation
Most Innovators excel at the ability to observe intensely.
They observe all manner of things in order to understand what works, and by doing so, they often discover what does not work.
Using the power of observation, innovators begin to connect common threads, across unconnected data which may provoke uncommon business ideas, most of these insights come from asking the “so called” right questions, questions that come from trying to understand the jobs to be done, or, in other words, and, in relation to users, what jobs do the users need to do in order to gain the value,
Jobs to be done is a method that greatly aids in problem reframing, or, finding the problem behind the problem a key component used in the front end of innovation.
If you want to learn more about these skills or the power that Applied business innovation brings to you or your company, come, see me and the team at the APAC Innovation Institute. www.apacii.com. a proud authorised training provider of GInI the Global Innovation Institute.
