Hi Cherita. Just so you know, you watched NU Pep Squad from National University in Philippines. That was their futuristic themed routine last 2016 for UAAP. UAAP Cheerdance competition is held once a year here in Philippines where 8 university pep squads compete.
NU pep squad came on top with that routine. What we are most proud of is that, we don't use spring floors during competition. UAAP CDC only have rubber mats which are an inch to an inch and a half thick. But look how these athletes do their passes. Not that clean as those would be done in all star cheerleading but I think they were commendable for doing such clean full twist passes. :))
They represented Philippines in level 5 IOC during ICU worlds 2015 and won 3rd place. That's their first time competing internationally.

cheritaisrandom Hi NU pepsquad is a memeber of UAAP which consist of 8 most famous Universities in the philippines. Its an annual cheering competition and we call it here as CHEERDANCE competition wich consiat of cheerleading, dancing and props thats why is kinda long. its broadcasted nationwide. It is the biggest competition or more prestigious than the national level. Its so popular in philippines thats why so they need a big venue for it. also NU is the champion in national Level. But this year NU messed up in their routine. They were gunning for their 5peat championship but unfotunately they failed. And my adamson university dethroned the mighty NU. All people was expecting them to surpass this futuristic routine with their under the sea theme this year. Pls see it for ur self but for us NU disappointed us.
watched your vids cherita, but correct me if Im wrong to the person I replied, UAAP is held twice a year (2 seasons per year) and yah NU recently is the most amazing stunners dethroned by ADU but after them UST is the king of UAAP CDC in the phil, they have 5peat record that NU nearly beaten but not, hope you can react with their traditional yet growling themed performances from past seasons :))) more power!

most of those dismounts & stunts are illegal in the states aka USASF. & COLLEGE in the states. they have their own company & rules. their dismounts are sickening tho & they are way ahead of the game for sure!

The Angels Twitter page said they asked for it not to be uploaded. Im assuming they didn't want to give a horrible first impression and I've been on Twitter for about two weeks and know those stupid cheer pages can be mean as hell. And what's the this rule about no videos at competition? Are they forcing you to pay for a live stream? People complained about IOC5 teams not twisting but not about the video rule?
I don’t think anyone was mean about Angels. They didn’t look that bad. Everyone is upset about this no video rule. The rules aren’t very clear. Then when/if you pay for the live stream, you can’t go back and watch it with audio. It’s one big monopoly.
cheritaisrandom That's what I was thinking. The sport is all about how much money they can bring in now. I agree about Angels. It really wasn't that bad. I mean, it is showcase after all. Love the vids too lol.
