Have you ever wondered where your money goes when you donate to World Vision Canada? We make sure your dollars work hard to help children in need around the world.
World Vision Canada puts more dollars into programs that help children than any other child sponsorship organization in the country.
Over 80% of your donation goes directly to help children and families in need.
Our projects provide access to healthcare, nutrition, child rights, clean water and educational resources to millions of children around the world.
We monitor the progress of every sponsored child to make sure their lives are improving and that your sponsorship provides real and lasting change within the communities we serve.
The remaining percentage of each dollar goes to our administrative and fundraising expenses. Some of these include maintaining our office, tracking and accounting for your donations, mailing annual tax receipts and providing updates about your sponsored child.
We also invest some of the money to increase awareness and raise even more funds to help even more children in emergency relief areas.
