Thank you for this , I do a lot of travels on coach and a lot of your videos help me to the visit on where best parts are. Going in probably last summery day 2023 on Tuesday
We have a popular dish in America that is called the Salisbury Steak, I wonder if it originated there in England, lol. I like the building architecture in these streets that you walked. Your slow walk and camera movements were great so i could examine all the details. 👍👍57
Good morning from a chilly Antalya, Turkey. Well I'd be surprised if it wasn't? Actually let me google it... ah... Salisbury steak was named for a 19th-century physician who recommended that his patients eat plenty of beef to cure their ills. Well I never!
I live just outside of salisbury and it is beautiful especially Cathedral Close big beautiful houses and stunning gardens very peaceful sadly like most towns shops have disappeared but fingers crossed 🤞not for long, great walk, just discovered your site and I'm glad I did 😊
Hello Fran, a pleasure to hear from you. It certainly makes it worthwhile to share these lovely places around and to know they are appreciated for their individuality. I quite agree it's sad to see a lot of the shops closing. We've noticed on these walks that more and more independent shops are moving in a revitalising cities - so indeed, let's hope that happens to Salisbury. Thanks so much for dropping by and connecting. I hope to bring you many more.
*I watched your channel icon on my UA-cam friend's channel. Looking around Salisbury in England through your video is very interesting and the scenery is very nice. I like the wide lawn square near **17:03**? Park? Square? And the red roofs are very interesting. I subscribe this channel because to follow your new video. I look forward to seeing you often through videos as friends. Greetings from Seoul, Korea.💕💯👍🙏🤝🙏🙏*
Hello there friend, a pleasure to hear you enjoyed it. Thank you too for your recent footage of Namibia. My friend visited a few years ago and talks about this area often, thanks for showing me a picture of what it's like. Fascinating!
Hi there Sue, thanks for the info’, we loved the city on a quiet day, but I’m sure we’d have found it just as captivating on a market day. Thanks for dropping by, all the best to you.
When I was 17 years old,I stayed Salisbury about 90days for homestay. Maybe 20 years ago. I remember there was no good foods for me and always felt hungry lol But everythings were unforgetable excelent memories. I'm so happy to watch this vid. Thank you so much from JPN. (Sorry my poor English)
Thanks for sharing your experience Yumikomatsu, ha ha... I hope British food has got better since then, I think so. Pleased you have happy memories and this brought some back to you. Best wishes.
Hi! 😘And it remained so. The town is charming, the people are very nice, but the food is still pathetic. Little choice. Even the cookies have been the same for decades. Nightmare. I think that every Englishman who has been to France, Germany or Poland knows what's going on ... The problem is that the English are not demanding on this subject. Something that the average European will eat and will say that never again, that something was tasteless, unpalatable. The Englishman will thus eat and praise ... There is still nothing tasty to eat in Salisbury ... Unfortunately ...
I'm deciding what town to move to and have been thinking of Salisbury for a while, this video is so nice and really captured the town well, I also love your portugal videos (I'm portuguese and I moved to the uk to study)
Hello there Sara, I hope this helped you you decide what town to move to. We do love Salisbury. I hope it works out for you if you do decide to move there. Amiamo il tuo bellissimo paese come puoi dire!!
I hope you decided Winchester. I stay in Salisbury every week and it’s not that great all. Very boring during the week as the city is dead. All very well showing the cathedral and cathedral close which is beautiful but the rest of Salisbury is not great. Go out after 7pm and it’s dead and only homeless people stumbling around.
Moved here 3 years ago, absolutely love it ❤ it's a great place to live, with an actual community feel.
Happy to hear that galboy, that's no small thing indeed. Thanks for dropping by.

Luckily not Roody!
Lovely. Only 20 miles from me. So disappointed you didn't show us the singers in the main square at the beginning.
Ah Des, yes they were rather good weren't they. I thought I might have to change the sound though due to copyright but surprisingly not!
