It was September 16th, 2022 (3 days ago), It was my first time riding the pep bus (I was in the pep club, so we did this.) On our way, a student in the back had a speaker and was blasting country music. We went into a Black Diamond build into a McDonald's to get food (I got a Honey Bun and a Pepsi). We got to our rival's high (My school team were playing against them. We lost btw 😢) While we were heading back up into the 4 lane (The high school was on a 2 lane), I heard this song play. While my best friends were singing this song, I went out of my way and sung along. After we stopped at another Black Diamond (The one in the McDonald's was closed. Also I got a thing of icebreakers duo strawberry flavor and a Dansai water), I was scrolling through a playlist UA-cam made for me (I was listening to Bruno Mars' Gorilla), and I said to my friends "Until that guy gets back, what song do you want me to play?" I went through the list and as soon as I said "Grenade", my friends wanted me to play it. So they asked the guy with the speakers to play "Party in the USA" and "Grenade". We sang those songs (and a couple others), and it was fun! I am so riding the pep bus to every away football game ever! P.S. sorry this was so long, I just wanted to share a story about the best day of my life.
