A video comparing GH and RB’s chart is a kick of nostalgia. Not strictly related but remember being subscribed to a lot of channels doing FCs and/or doing battles against other channels, specially the drum dudes lol
It's interesting what each chart considers to have that double strum to sustain. I didn't expect the GH3 chart to be "missing" those while simultaneously "overcharting" them.
I remember when I first beat this song on hard mode in GH3. I was so used to using the regular controller but I couldn't beat the parts when you're supposed to strum. So I finally got a guitar controller and when it came to that part, I turned off my X360 controller and strummed with the guitar until it came to pressing different buttons, then I turned off the guitar controller and turned on the regular controller and beat it. Lol did the same with other songs
I hate that i like the RB4 chart better. KoC was one of my top played GH songs growing up on GH3. I never thought I could have nostalgia not just for the game and it's look and songs, but also the way it's got it's colorful blobs laid out.

I find the difference makes sense because RB is actually treating as an actual separation of the instruments, while GH is like this based on how it sounds and incorporates all the instrumentation into the guitar. If they laned the strums it would've been much harder to FC. I'm glad they weren't laned because strumming at this speed without lanes is possible
Kinda wondering how the GH version has 1917 notes when the RB one has 1687.
The synth part
GH likes to chart notes that are either bass notes or just not really there
I can barely tell apart hopos from normal notes in rb
Add rock smith at the bottom with the actual tabs
They didn't lane fuck it guys let's go
Guitar Hero is more about the sound of the music, Rock Band is more about the instrument itself, both are good...
I don’t play Rock Band 4, but that chart is way batter than Guitar Hero 3.
I'm not a fan of Muse in ANY sense. But this is song is pretty fun on guitar

Jesus, I do not miss guitar hero 3's ridiculous overcharting
For me guitar hero 3 Knight of Cydonia it's very hard
What was your Breakneck speed??
you have to be built different to play this damn chart idc. I can play this game for a few hours now that I'm getting back into it (with short breaks) but if I play this at all I have to break for at least 20 mins. fuck this chart how do you people do this shit lol
it's nice to see the ending with hopos instead of pure strumming hell tho.
Rock Band is more close to reality, but GH was more fun to me
GG
This is why I have trust issues
Blows my mind every time I’m reminded they still do RB4 DLC lol
Wey me pasas la tarea?
- Si, pero no la vayas a copiar igual.
Rock Band always had the better charts. Sometimes the charts in GH just felt nonsensical or silly.
