We're getting into the real hard songs now fellas! There's some goooood shit coming up.
This is 1st place by 20 points. Would've been 690,2xx if I hadn't dropped a tick at 5:57. This is by far the easiest Megadeth song in the game, but that doesn't mean it's easy. I missed in the solo multiple times trying to hit the squeeze, but other than that this song is pretty easy.
I fucking love this song and a lot of Megadeth's songs, but it's a shame Dave Mustaine went Alex Jones-esque conspiracy theorist. Nothing is more metal than accusing the government of staging massacres to enact gun control legislation that never happened, or writing an entire album based on educating the world about globalist new-world-order conspiracies. smh dave

Guitar Hero WoR will always hold a special place in my heart, thanks to this game i was introduced to the Rock Genre 🙏 & to this day im still rocking out 🤘

@@9another632 the way the game renders inputs is alongate for whatever reason. Illusion of speed and wider window of input, don't have to be as accurate.

It brings great pleasure to see the game try to make it look as accurate as possible.
I’ve finally come around full circle from playing GH WOR, learning about megadeth, and then seeing them live in concert. Insane how much of an impact these games have had on my music tastes :)

its not, you have 5 finger placements on the guitar hero guitar, you have 100+ finger placements on an actual guitar + alot of techniques

I'mma call it now; Fury of the Storm will be FC'd up to the trills near the ending. But considering you've conquered the DragonForce pack in GH3 AND Misirlou (I think Hanger 18 as well, maybe Jordan too,) you'll probably get the FC on it. And Black Widow as well, even though it's probably for the score. You have all my gratitude and respect.
What I'm saying is that it'll be nice to see those on video of course. Forgot to mention that

Can you please explain why you deliberately drop the 3 sustains at 2:29? Even after watching your video explaining slow vs normal ticks, I don’t understand how dropping ticks could possibly get you a higher score.
When you let go of the bottom sustains before hitting the top sustain, the game will compensate you for the points from the FULL extended sustain sequence at the end of the top sustain, even though you already started hitting the sequence with the first notes. So the amount of points earned between the first sustain and the last sustain basically gets duplicated.
I think I need to remake that video, I know much more about it today and think I could do a better job explaining it.

@@aWiseMoose Makes sense. I'm the One was from a later GH than when I stopped playing back in the day, but watching your videos of that game makes it look like a lot of fun. They really nailed the animations in that game, plus VH is I'm sure a ton of fun to play.

I never liked the long strumming strings missing the first hammer on. It always made WoR kinda wonky to play on those long strumming strings, like TTFAF on Smash Hits.
And now I realize it’s almost like playing the song on a real guitar (if you did)
