Missha is my favorite foundation, hands down! It’s so easy to layer too to get to a light/medium coverage.
Everyone who loves light coverage, mineral sunscreen and is fair to medium needs to go check out innisfree simple label tinted moisturizer. It's basically a tinted sunscreen
As someone who hates wearing heavy foundations, I’m so happy for this video!
One thing about the NYX (which I bought on Angie’s recommendation) is I found that you can’t layer it. Once it sets down, if you add more product it will pick up. It has a decent working time though so it’s not a huge issue once you’re aware of it though!
I just went to the nyx website and I think it is being discontinued unless I read it wrong!

Based on Audra at Home's and SincerelyAlex 's recommendations, I bought Flower beauty serum foundation. I love it! Most of the time I don't wear any tint or foundation, as I'm oily combo skin and very hot summer climate. I've been eyeing Neonude for some time too.

Off topic but just dropping by to say that I have purchased my first Juvia's Place eyeshadow on Angie's recommendation (I got the Zulu and Masquerade)🥳🥳🥳. For the first time I understand why Angie said the shimmers are yummy cuz I feel the same way

The Fenty one is so good for my oily/acne prone skin. The Nyx Bare With Me holds up fairly well for oily skin as well.
As a oily-skinned gal, thank you for your input! I do have the Nyx Bare With Me, however I tend to mix it with fuller coverage foundations to sheer them out. But I may have to give Fenty a try 😏
@@oliviaalves3559 Yeah, the Nyx one is surprisingly good even for oily skin but I do prefer the finish and wear of the Fenty a bit more. I wish the Fenty had some more shades for fair skintones though.

NYX bare with me is soooo nice, bought it randomly when I saw it in the store and so happy I’ve found it! Perfect for summer glowy skin and lasts for hours

I think I have tried all of these and I LOVE the NYX out of all of them! I hated the Glowish way too sticky. The new Tarte is awesome too!
I recommend the Urban Decay Hydromaniac Tinted Glow Hydrator foundation! I really am enjoying it and it’s essentially a tinted moisturizer. I find it’s longer lasting than some of the others I’ve tried and I like the finish!
I'm about to receive it and I'm excited to see someone praise it!

@@kagitsune I feel like it does dry down and has the slightest tackiness that doesn’t bother me. If you want it fully dried down, I’d just suggest powder. It’s definitely not as slippy and tacky as the colourpop tinted moisturizer.
Mine is sooooo thick and looks cakey on me. You got any tips to make this work bc even the sponge isn’t great.
It drives me crazy when people review light coverage products then complain about the coverage. Like, I understand giving a bad review for it doing absolutely nothing or like that, but not for it not being high coverage.

I was intrigued about the nabla one but I would also want something more glowy. I like the colourpop skin tint but I chose the wrong shade and the other shade I want is always out of stock. I love the Becca tint. Bought it because of you and I wear it all the time. The NYX one is also amazing but I haven't found my shade :/. Have you seen the new tint from NYX? Packaging is of course horrible but it looks great. Would love to know your thoughts :)

I love the Shop Miss A, AOA BB cream. It's a BB cream so emphasis on light coverage. But it still has coverage and looks great on the skin, wears well, and works for so many different skin types
I like the Ordinary Serum Foundation. It’s like $6 and it’s really light.

@@kagitsune amazing, it’s skin like abs lasts all day and when it does where off it’s so subtle. Only thing I’d say that if you powder, only a light dusting as the heavier you go it can look a bit too powdery and Cakey. I have combo skin too xx

I have always been a medium to full coverage gal. With powder. Getting older, I realize I may have to adjust that thinking! It seems like a good transition to lighter coverage would be the Armani.

Me too; it's tough because while I'm getting older and getting more texture on my skin, I still have the same amount of oils. At least this gives me some foundations to try...
I’m finding getting older, that I can’t get foundations to sit on my skin properly! No idea why. Sooo confusing. Sometimes I use primer sometimes I don’t. Any thoughts? Anyway I think I need to try a skin tint to see if that looks better on my skin! 😄🤔🤷🏼♀️
I am having the same issue. I like medium to full coverage and had super oily skin in my youth so preferred a matte. I just cant do matte foundations anymore, they just suck the life out of me and emphasize my wrinkles. If you like medium/full, I fell in love with the Zoeva Authentic Skin foundation. Its a skin like finish that really works well with age texture and I use very light powder to set.
The holiwood flawless fillter is stunning as highlighter, i bougth it for that and i really really love it

I got the nyx as soon as it came out and even with all the new ones I've tried, it's still my favorite. It's my go-to foundation, no contest.

I knew the number one before even watching the video.😊 I bought the NYX Bare With Me last winter out of your recommendation (being the closest drugstore version of the Armani one) and it's great! The only problem is that I can't use it in the summer. I have the same skin tone as you, but a cool undertone. The only cool undertone one was the lightest one. And my skin tone is light-medium and never the lightest option, not even close. I can make it work, but when tanning... Noup. Will turn to the Fenty or Armani next.
i wanted to buy the armani neo nude foundation back in the spring when i was buying a ton of complexion products because i literally had none at that point... but the shade range is atrocious. it doesn't work for the two ends of the spectrum, the fairest and the deepest. i would literally have to buy the white artistry mixer because when i saw swatch photos of the lightest shade 1.5, it is too dark for me, and far too warm/yellow, and i'm never, ever, going to be someone that has to buy two of a pricier foundation just to make my shade. the spectrum is light-medium with the tiniest toe dip into dark. i truly hope they expand. at first i thought they did when i just checked sephora usa's site, i feel like there's more shades than there were, but if they did, they just expanded within the light-medium range where they already had all their previous shades at.
I was just noticing the same thing when I clicked on Angie's link to check it out. The light shades are a strange assortment of undertones and I don't think any would match me. Maybe it's shear enough not to matter much? But for that price I don't want to gamble. 😕
That is so unfortunate. Especially since the Armani company is known for featuring gorgeous deep dark-complected models.

@hannah jane, I have the Armani Neo Nude foundation, and it was indeed difficult for me to select the right shade online. I'm very fair, but with quite yellow undertones and I tend to struggle with finding my shade in most ranges. Ended up picking shade 3 (described as very fair golden) and it's a great match. I do agree the range is a bit random.
I really have been enjoying the MAC Face+body. I like how it thickens up in the hands to make application easier without sacrificing the integrity of the formula.

My fav is the skin tint from Nabla in the lightest shade. 🥰 Excellent fo my dry mature skin, doesn’t enhance texture, looks super natural and lasts at least 12 hours (my longest wear time). Perfect product for me.
My absolute favourite Skintint is Colourpop's tinted moisturizer. I literally have women stopping me to ask what I'm wearing. I apply it with a sponge. I like the Nyx one, but I can't get the right neutral shade, the 3 I've tried are all too yellow.

the $5 wet n wild skin tint is the only complexion product i've used in the last 4 years and i love it so much!! it doesn't break me out like everything else i've tried and the shades really do blend in with your skin once they're on (i'm normally a medium but their fair shade still works perfect for me)

My absolute favorite is the Nabla one in the lightest shade. Super easy to work with, beautiful finish and hydrating even for my dry skin. Doesn’t accentuate texture at all.

Nyx Bare With Me is such a good drugstore option for shades with a golden/olive undertone. They even managed to make a super pale shade ("Vanilla") without a hint of orangey tone.
It's also very affordable, easily available, and wears very well.
My absolute favorite is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint. My favorite over all higher end and drugstore that I have tried. Thanks for the video!

Sounds like we like similar types of skin tints, light coverage foundations etc and I do love that NYX one as well! I also wanted to suggest the Kosas Tinted Face Oil such light hydrating coverage (make sure to shake the bottle before applying), Rare Beauty foundation is also a light weight your skin but better product (always shake before applying too), and my current favorite (thanks to Jessica Braun here on YT) Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream that gives the perfect slightly dewy light longer wearing coverage that looks great even on a hot Summer day. I am 51 btw & have somewhat dry, & yes, mature skin. Great video and btw you are one of my favorite on YT!

I love the fenty one. And I have normal/oily skin. Leaning more on the oily side. I'm 37 with a lot of redness and acne scarring and the fenty one just take down my redness to a manageable degree without making me feel like I have to use a full coverage foundation. And even when my oils seep through, it still holds up beautifully and just looks glowing and the tint doesn't really break apart. I love that one. I do set it with powder but not at all in the same way I used to do it. Because I don't have to.
I should mention that I live in Sweden to so we don't get the same kind of heat or humidity you get in other parts of the world.

I love the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream. It’s an Asian brand. It has surprisingly good coverage, SPF42 and it lasts very well throughout the day.
The Becca one is SO GOOD. I bought 3 so I would have backups after they go away. I'm quite fair, and in summer I get to maybe a light shade. I've ordered shades 1 and 2 and both work beautifully on my skin tone
Great review. I think Mac Face & Body fits perfectly into this category of products.
Great roundup Angie! 💜 Been eyeing the Fenty and the Nabla tints for a while. 👀👀 I've got the Armani foundation, and it is truly lovely on the skin. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to a certain ingredient commonly found in base products, and this foundation makes my eyes water and my nose run. One tint I'd def recommend is the Kosas tinted face oil if you're into sheer coverage and you don't mind being glowy and/or have dry skin. It wears beautifully and it's super easy to use.

I only have the colourpop tinted moisturizer out of all of these and I would agree with what you said about it. My favorite skin tint or light coverage product is the wet n wild tinted hydrator it looks so amazing on my dry skin and works well with a brush and a sponge!
Love this review. I have been using the Huda Beauty Glowish and I'm liking it but you are correct where as it doesn't dry down as much as it could. Also a brand that you did not review that I use is Saie Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer SPF 35 . I use 3.5 and it is really good too.
I agree, the Nyx tint is amazing. My last purchase was the Missha RX BB cream, quite happy with that one. Picked up two of the Becca ones today half on at Sephora France... good to know they’re actually good 😅 FOMO got me for real this time.

I mixed the Nabla and the Becca and I love it. I bought 2 back ups for the Becca skin tint because I love it so much. I will miss it when I use it all up
I'd love for you to review the Wet n Wild hydrating skin tint! It was just $6 by me, and honestly it reminds me a lot of the Fenty one in terms of coverage and finish. Shade range isn't amazing, is the only downside to it.
I like the tarte maracuja tinted moisturizer and the urban decay glow hydrator and I've been wanting to try the Makeup Revolution dewy skin one too
I love skin tints, especially during for the summer. Watertone by mufe, Prisme Libre by Givenchy and Mac face and body are fantastic. I didn't get on with the Glossier,it stuck to dry patches. The Armani is one of my faves too

My fav foundation is also the Natasha Denona X, I’ve been really enjoying the UD Hydromaniac I would recommend trying that one out! 😊
i don't love the nyx bare with me on it's own, but i love mixing it with other foundations! It sheers out more full coverage formulas and slightly mattifies super glowy products so beautifully. Also idk if bareminerals is available in europe, but their complexion rescue tinted moisturizer is my ABSOLUTE favorite. it's truly special and it looks so good on the skin.

I am eyeing the Fenty Eaze Drop, I think I would like that one too. Especially for the hot summer days since my T-zone gets quite oily then. And for the days I want something light but not as light coverage as the Nyx one I guess. 😊

Nars Sheer Glow. It sets down and is not crazy glowy. Not instead of any of your top picks (many of which I have), but if you mixed the Becca with the Natasha Denona, this is what I think you would get. Also it's gorgeous mixed with the Natasha Denona, which is my favorite foundation. I am trying the new MAC face and body reformulation/shade extension, but I haven't tried it enough to know if I like it better than the NYX.
I bought the Natasha Denona Foundation X purely from your positive reviews on it. It is legit the best foundation I’ve ever used. It just makes my skin look so nice and it lasts all day without an oil slick appearing in my t zone.
I have the Becca and colourpop on your list but now I’m really eyeing the Armani and Nyx
After watching reviews and careful consideration, I got the NYX Bare with Me. I’m really enjoying it. I have mature skin (62 - you’re nowhere there yet!) and heavier foundation just looks AWFUL! But I like to even out my redness and age spots (those things just suddenly appeared - all the sun damage over the years 😦).
I love the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Nude from Lancome. Stay all day very nice.
I think that Glossier, Ilia, Chantecaille (Future Foundation in the jar), Bobbi Brown and bareMinerals you will like more than those you already have. Hope you try them 😘
I got to try the fenty. Because I really love Nabla for the finish, but always want a tad more coverage. I usually mix a drop of the Fenty Pro Filter foundation in it. 🤷🏻♀️
Another good one that I don’t know if you have tried is the Tarte Hydroflex Serum Foundation. I saw some good reviews and picked it up. I really like it. I use this one and Fenty.
I tried MAC Face & Body for the first time recently and I really like it!

Smashbox halo glow is a great one, it has more coverage than the nyx and it's a little more glowy but it holds up so well on my combo skin.. I do love the nyx tint but it can start to break down on long and hot days on me. I really want to try the nabla one next, I feel like it would work great for mixing into my more matte foundation without taking away coverage or changing the texture because I'd only need a few drops compared to my other skin tints 😊

I love skin tints!!!! The Milani skin tint is a fave light and glowy for me wonder how it compares to the NYX? The Wet N WIld skin hydration also is an awesome affordable coverage. The Urban Decay Tinted Hydrator is good too!
I still want to try that Fenty eaze drop! Oh that's strange about that Glossier order! For me it usually takes 1-2 weeks (I've ordered two times before). I hope it has reached you now though or will soon! I also hope the cloud paint in dawn (the orange one) is in your order hehe 🧡😉

It's more of a medium coverage on its own, but I love mixing the Madara Cosmetics Skin Equal with Nyx Bare with Me. It's natural and super long-lasting on me. I start out with more of a satin skin finish, but during the day turn dewy. Still, nothing moves. I'm on my second (and third in another shade) Bare with Me!
Huda mixed with Armani or NARS or Charlotte tilbury foundation next level 😍😍😍because I am dry AF.🙈the huda is my favorite to mix with my foundations now its so gorgeous 🥰
Since the Becca foundation is $15 at sephora i decided to try it! Its beautiful and glowing! I am going to try fenty next week. Its just too hot to wear full coverage.

I'd love to see a discussion on what makes good packaging, what are some of your pet peeves, and what are your takes on packaging trends that are currently everywhere? For example, what you we think of the giant doe-foot trend? I personally like it on lip glosses but not a fan of giant doe-foots (doe-feet?) on concealers.
I highly recommend the Kosas foundation. It's very liquid like and it's just gorgeous...it's also quite easy to build to light medium coverage. Chef's kiss, I don't know why it's so underrated, I'm on my second bottle and it lasts a long time.
i don’t know if you can get it because i thought i remembered you saying that you don’t have tarte in sweden, but the new tarte hydroflex serum foundation is SO PRETTY oh my god to me it’s 1000% better than fenty eaze drops, it’s light, glowy, and you can build it up but it looks natural :) i hope you can try it !
My 3 favorites for a light coverage is the kosas tinted face oil, tarte rainforest of the sea water foundation, and l'oreal age perfect radiant serum foundation. At 52 with super dry skin I prefer these over any of my other foundations and I have some really nice foundations that I really like. They don't cling to dryness, they don't emphasize lines or texture, and even me out beautifully and are really light on the skin which is fantastic in the summer and I'm in Alabama so summer is almost all year. lol
