I finally did it!!! Amazing! I have a master lock I've had since high school. I kept the code written on it all this time. Then last year used it and lost the code. I really didn't want to toss it. I don't know how many videos I've been through. Your video finally helped me find the code!! How amazing!! Thank you!!
Oh bless you, bless you! It worked! My hands are tiny! So I had some trouble getting the right pressure! So instead of using my index finger pointing UP, I turned the lock upside down, and put my middle finger instead. So I used my thumb to push up! Thank you so much!
Thank u sir it work in my lock i watch but need to watch the third part twice cuz its kinda hard to understand, now i can also try it in my workmate locker.
I was using this trick in school back in the mid 1980's. They introduced an alternate design in response to the flaw. All these videos with that same technique , yet none of them mention it doesnt work on all specimens.
I’ve not yet encountered a Masterlock brand combo lock that this did not work for. There are other brands that operate differently. Thanks for your comment.
At last! The mathematical method didn't work for me, even using the fancy online calculators. Even your earlier, shorter video had me stumped. But this expanded video did the trick. Once I knew the third digit for sure and it still didn't open, I realized I was doing something wrong with the first two. Turns out, when dialing the second number, there is one case where you do *not* go past the first number: when they are the same! My combo was 0 - 0 - 32. Thank you Apache Pilot!
Correct. The 2nd number is the only tricky one to find really. The first is very evident. The third just quick trial and error. But that second number is key!! Try my short version of this process. It gets the job done in 2 minutes! 🔒Lock Picking ● Find Combination to Master Lock Padlock ● Less than Two Minutes Using Only Feel ua-cam.com/video/IxOwyOnnb18/v-deo.html
Every video I have seen shows a modern inexpensive master lock. I have yet to find one that shows how to crack an original series from around the 1950s. Does this mean the older locks can't be cracked?? My master lock has an all metal design, with the front knob being a high polish non painted metal. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
i think i know the 1st and 3rd number but i cant find the sticky point for the second number. Also i ripped off the back and looked at the discs and found the 3rd number but no idea what the second number is First number is 3, Third number is 8, Hard stop point is 30 Edit: After playing with it a little bit and checking the discs while i was turning it, i have found that the second number is 21. i thought i felt a little resistance around 20-26 area but the lock is a little beat up so i assumed it was just from that
The first bite point where his was 1 is almost impossible to go past but the second bite point I think his was 9 will be easy to go past so be careful not to go past. The second number will be a slight resistance to your turning motion so it’s very hard to feel, you have to go slow and try multiple times to see that your right. I followed his instructions and was able to crack a random lock I found on the grass. I think you will be able to do it
Hi! I have an old ace combination lock, have you ever tried on an ace lock? I think it must have a different pattern. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
I’m having trouble getting the pressure right. Do you have any references for how we do that? I also just by messing around I’ve accidentally opened twice but I have no clue how or what numbers.
The one way that has helped some folks is to practice with a lock that you know the combination for. Then increase your pressure just enough to be able to feel it “hit” on that number consistently, and try to get a feel for why that number is different than others and build some muscle memory for how it feels. I hope this helps!
1:48 I used the clockwise method and it got stuck between 21 and 22 which would mean my 1st number is 27(correct), but when I do it the other way it gets stuck between 11 and 12, and adding 14 does not equal to 27
Took me a while for the REAL 3rd step: I found these points First set: 0 to 1, 10 to 11, 20 to 21, 30 to about 31.2 Second set: 4, 14, 24, 34 Third set: 7 to 8, 17 to 18, 27 to 28, 37 to 38 So 30 to 31 is the odd one out And my 3rd number was 31
Hmm, I'm using the cheapest lock from Wally World, it's not a Master Lock though does that matter? I have been at this for a few hours and I've never been able to find any "snag" to find the first two numbers. However, finding the third number worked perfectly using your method.
I have combination locks I Had from my school days I’m going to try this see if I can get the numbers to open them and reuse them. Thanks for the video.
That’s the thing, though: I try to adjust tension very slightly until I feel catching, but I don’t feel anything until I start hitting the bumps between all the false gates. Also, thanks for taking time to reply!
I got 3 locks off a lovers lock fence, and was able to find the combo on 2 of them using this method. The 3rd one might have rusted parts on the inside, but I will keep trying. This is the only video, that actually works, all the rest just show, but do not explain in detail like you do...thank you
I have watched dozens of these How to Pick a Master Lock Combination Lock videos. They always demonstrate on locks they know the numbers for. They need to start with a brand new, unopened packet, and discard the solution on the back of the lock. I went and purchased 12 new locks, peeled all the solutions off the back, then jumbled the locks up to make sure I didn't know the combinations beforehand. My success rate following the 'How to' techniques was 2 out of 12 locks.
Well, I’ve opened more of these locks than I can remember and the technique works for me. I’ve tried to explain it best I can but sorry if it isn’t working for you.
Good video but I am having a hard time, Mabry because the lock is beat up. But else wise I having a hard time not with the pressure ing lifting the shackle up but just getting it. Any ways really good job you did really good. By the way if you are reading this and you like locks sub to this guy because he is amazing. Bye.
Found the first and second numbers using your techniques. 30-24-? The last number has been a struggle for me. I’ve tried going through your system of finding where it’s more loose (has more play). And yet im still not able to unlock it. Maybe it’s because my lock is a “Dudley” brand? But it is also a combination lock from 0-40.
If you know the first and the second numbers ... then why look for the third number. Seriously, if you dial in the first and second numbers properly, then simply move dial clockwise in increments of 2 and pull up on shackle .. and the shackle will release itself when dial hits last number.
I’m guessing you missed the first half of the video, where we solve for digit one and digit two. Everything drawn on the paper is focused solely on digit three. Hope this helps.
But if you already know digit one and digit two ... then last number is easily found just by pulling up on shackle every 2 numbers while turning for last number. Or if you want, pull up on shackle on each number. Simple, easy, fool-proof! Makes absolutely no sense to try to do any 'pressure' or 'math' if you already know first and second number. @@ApacheRanch

I have not. Perhaps check out the “lock picking lawyer” channel
if the first number is something like 36 for example would you just continue on and do 1?
When i turn it clockwise for the first wall, i go the other way to the second wall it just spins. And i applied the same pressure, so I’m confused.
