Everyone- it took me a while to understand that what Nightwish was doing was their own thing- as I said at the end of the video, if you want the original, listen to the original. I have a great amount of respect for a band that dares to do a classic song their own way. Thank you all for clarifying this is more of a tribute- as someone new to this band, there's no way I could have known that. I really like the fact that it is so different- my bias towards Pink Floyd is very strong, and so it becomes difficult to accept different interpretations of music you've been strongly attached to for most of your life. I prefer the original, but I don't think it is better than the NW tribute- the NW version is just as great as the original, just in a different way. It took me a while to come to that conclusion, but I got there. Have patience, please lol The more I listen to the NW version, the more it grows on me. I'm starting to really love it :)
When you say that it's missing something... I agree. As you said Nightwish is trying to do their own thing when played this song, and Emppu brought his own feeling (and for me this song's magnetism relies heavily on the feeling when playing the song). And Marko's voice really brings another layer to the song, something you really don't see on the original. Someone once told me: "Pink Floyd's original is a song where you lay down on your hammock and enjoy the flow. But Nightwish dared to change the original melody and make their own thing, that puts us into a different mood with the guitars, the drums and the heaviness of it, making us cringe and feel the bigger impact of it.". I'm not so into PF when I was younger, but I listened to this song before and, when I heard this version, it impressed me for different reasons. But both, for me, are real beautiful pieces. And, "Kiitos" is "Thank you" in Finnish. :) If I can suggest you something (very different from my last recommendation - believe me! :)), if you know Phantom of the Opera, hear their version to this musical. This one, IMO, is even better than Andrew Lloyd Webber's to my ears. But, as we all know, art hits us differently depending on who's consuming it... and I think you would like to know his touch in this one. Other than that, GREAT REACTION. Loved the musical nerdy analysis and your opinion about it. And yes, the bells makes a HUGE difference! Keep rocking! P.S.: I was late, but probably many of the NW Army are late because of the virtual concert Nightwish gave today, and I was attending it too. :) If you want to see Emppu shreds (it's a rare thing), you can watch Last Ride Of The Day or Romanticide. But, Gabriel's advice will take you there so, keep moving on, man! And just to keep you on the correct timeline of Nightwish, this was the last concert where Tarja was the lead singer. She was fired right after.
I don't think any of the covers Nightwish has done sound anything like the originals. Yes, you can always recognize the song but it's always made into a Nightwish song. And this is the way I like covers done.
Do not apologize. Both interpretations are good and there is no need to prefer one to the other. I love Pink Floyd and Nightwish, so I can appreciate both versions. Just enjoy them...
I don't mean you have to like the NW version. Just that if I were a NW band member, if DG liked our tribute, I probably couln't care less about the opinion of rest of the world 😁
This is more of a tribute. The army may be slow to comment today as we are preparing for the virtual show which here in the US east coast starts very soon.
"You must wait for instructions from Gabriel" 😅 haha, that is hilarious to hear being deep into nightwish reactions, since forever. Nice intro. I haven't seen the reaction yet but already like this video a lot 👍
NIGHTWISH ARMY 1st RECON BRIGADE WEST VIRGINIA HERE...I TOO am a huge Pink Floyd fan and To try to copy Pink Floyd would be absurd ..Nightwish took it and made it their own ...a killer tribute to a legendary band ..
My new favourite Nightwish analyst! And I've heard alot! You won me over with your reaction to Ghost Love Score already, where you were able to distinguish the band dynamics and their musicianship already, pointing out Tuomas' influence of the bat. You can tell that you're so passionate, knowledgable and talented! Please promise me that you will react to The Greatest Show On Earth live from Tampere some day, after discovering more from them and after doing some research about this song in particular. That will be such an epic journey!
Marko is a tenor through and through in the same concert he does hit a G5 in the cover of the phantom of the opera :) him and the rest of the band truly is talented.
Oh and the guitar solo is very much like all of Emppu's work always in service of the song not his own glory. He does do some fantastic solos, some shredding and can kick out riffs that make you want to headbutt a wall ;) But only if the song needs it, can't ever imagine him doing a show off solo. Some of his work is very complex, Pan for instance. Dave Gilmour is Dave Gilmour, a guitarist without equal so Emppu doesn't try to copy or compete. Emppu just does Emppu and I love him for it :) It's Nightwish to a t, they don't do what others do, they do Nightwish and whatever that entails, Celtic, Orchestral, Classical, Death/Thrash, Rock, Jazz, Opera, film-score, demented Disney, what ever comes out of the genius mind of Tuomas and he's got the band to express his imagination. Romanticide has a great solo in it and some out of this world screams and harmonies which is well worth a look to see some more of what the Pocket Hobbit can do with a guitar. He's also the hilarious side of the band, often plays pranks on other members on stage (poor Floor seems to get the brunt of it, but she gives as good as she gets.) He's also a massive Floor-fan like most of us are and his reaction to her Floorgasm at the end of Ghost Love Score is so endearing, it's not possible to not love the little grinning guitarist. He's also the first one in the band to go up to other band members and touch them or give them a smile when they do well as well as grin at them for support when they drop a note or make a mess of things (doesn't happen often) He spends half his time when not playing, larking about, flirting with girls in the audience and throwing picks into the crowd. In short he's part of the glue that binds all the band together and yes I am a total fan boy of his, as well as every other single member of a wonderful band.
Great reaction. And "kiitos" means "thank you" in Finnish. This performance was played at Hartwall Arena, Finland, in 2005 as the final show of End of an Era tour and Tarja was kicked from the band after this night. The cover of the Phantom of the Opera is from the same gig.
In interviews Tuomas Holopainen stated that High Hopes was a tribute to Pink Floyd and not an as close as possible to the original cover. It is 'High Hopes Nightwish Style'.
I personally never compare diffrent versions of songs, because they are diffrent songs played by diffrent persons on diffrent eras. Like this one, this is a Nightwish symphonic metal version based on Pink Floyd original song. It's not a copy of the original. These guys are doing a great job with this song. It's been said that this is the best cover of this song ever. Jukka, the drummer is putting everything on this performance, especially cause he had a terrible head ache during that concert. Enjoy more of Nightwish, you'll not be disappointed.
You must know, after this Show, they fired Tarja. The open Letter is written .look in the faces of the Band. The gras was, the light was brighter. What a Tribute from a awesome Band to another awesome Band.
This recording was made from the last concert where Tarja was the main vocalist. All the players in this video knew what will happen after the concert. But the versions of this song are different enough so it's ok to like both, If I could choose I would probably prefer NW's version more often, they give different wibe though. Nightwish's version being more dark. Kiitos - thank you.
"Why would you want to copy when you have the original" is the best reaction I've heard in a long time. I like the Pink Floyd version and this one also. I can't decide which is better, and fortuately I don't have to.
Also, if nobody invited you yet, this is an amazing discord server for reactors. It is centered around NW reactions but they are very good about sharing, posting and watching other bands. Also just some amazing people to hang with! discord.gg/sEeMgce7
Have people been suggesting Ayreon yet? There's definitely a lot of stuff you'd enjoy from them. I guess I'd say it's story heavy progressive rock. Every album is a story and they all tie to the main plot somehow. It's bit of different kind of a thing as it's Arjen Anthony Lucassens project and not a band. There's are some people who are usually playing with him tho. Then there are the dozens of singers with their own characters. Concerts with Ayreon are few and far between. But the Ayreon Universe was quite a show with 16 singers. It's a "The best of Ayreon" kind of a thing and has plenty of variety. Good introduction to Ayreon might be "The day the world breaks down" from the album "The source". Quite a long song that introduces all 11 singers on that album. Arjen also explains all sorts of things about the story, singers and equipment used with text. It can be quite a bit to take in on the first watch tho.
Good idea with the guitar! You'll discover that Emppu never overplay, he just gives what the song need - sometime, most of the time, what he delivers seem very simple, but it always works. Btw, Jukka, the drummer was suffering of a migraine during the whole concert, if you look at the video again, you'll see him hanging a bit over his drums at a point, and you see Emppu jumping down from the drum podium after he went and asked his pal if he was coping.
That's just something Jukka does when he doesn't play. Jukka is a badass but I can guarantee if he really had migraine there's no way he could have played the full show. It's a sweet story but completely made up on UA-cam based on someone's speculation.
Love both versions and listen to them both, but more to the Nightwish version which energize me more. The Floyd version has this great feel of loss, which is unique.
Loved this analysis/breakdown! I'm glad someone is actually paying attention to Emppu. He is definitely an underrated guitar player, he never really shows off his skills. and only plays what is needed! - Loved the idea of bringing the guitar btw. :)
Pink Floyd did this, Pink Floyd did that. If you want to hear a copy of Pink Floyd, check out Pink Floyd. This is Nightwish and they do Nightwish things with Pink Floyd templates. 😉 For me Nightwish killed the original hier. Marco nailed it. Two outstanding guitar solos from Emppu. And obviously different from the original.
Gabriel's list is great for nightwish as a whole. but I think you might enjoy certain things more, as you realized yourself when you saw this song at the bottom of his list. I think you'd enjoy the islander (live at tampere) a lot. it's marco singing and playing guitar, lots of fingerpicking and a great folksy tune. I also think you'd enjoy marco's "the voice of my father". it's from his solo stuff, and is an absolutely fantastic song. the finnish version is absolutely gorgeous, and the english version is also great. I'm not sure you'll find a song where emppu really lets it rip. he's a fantastic guitarrist, but he definitely sticks to only playing the neccessary parts and doing what the song needs and nothing more. he's got some heavier sections in their heavier songs like "yours is an empty hope" and "master passion greed"
BTW, if you don't get as many views today and tomorrow, it's because of the Nightwish virtual concert that will be starting in two hours and then tomorrow evening. Love your reactions and your slide play (to my limited knowledge of the craft) sounds great!
Many thanks Mike! Nightwish's version of The Phantom of the Opera from this same concert next, please! Insane vocals by the original vocalist Tarja Turunen and the Marko Hietala. It will blow your mind!
Nice breakdown! Nightwish doesn't do karaoke, so it was bound to be very different from the original. This version got high praise from David Gilmour, who loved the key changes. Marko is a Tenor with a really wide range.
I saw Pink Floyd on the Division Bell tour (and The Momentary Lapse of Reason tour) and it was almost a religious experience. I love the Nightwish version of High Hopes, it's more of a homage than a cover, rather than trying to compete with the original.
Nightwish virtual concert starting in about 2 hours, so fans are there chatting along already. Heading there myself right now. I like this tribute to PF. The original is different and great but it has not "tainted",lol, my mind like yours, so it is easier for me to like the Nightwish version. All in all why cover if you do not make it your own.
Which is the conclusion I came to in the very end ;) As I said, they won me over. The more I listen to their cover, the more it grows on me and I like it.
@@mikenagoda Olli Haavisto is a pedal steel guitarist, born in 1954. Has played on almost 2000 recorded songs. Olli Haavisto "The Boston Holler" is newer stuff by him. Vanha Isäntä "Kuuskytluvun kauan soiva blues" cover of Al Stewarts "Post World War II Blues" Love the song, good cover. Olli on steel guitar. Olli started with Vanha Isäntä when he was a teenager.
Thanks Mike....Glad you liked it. Yep they put a metal edge on , more of a tribute than a cover .Nice catch on the Mr Screen. Kiitos is thanks in Fin. The bell would have been cool, but not Nightwishish. Be well......Miss you Syd !
@mike, I’m a lifelong Pink Floyd fan with Gilmore and Rogers together or separate, but I can honestly say this Nightwish tribute/cover is my favorite version of High Hopes. 🤟🤟✌️✌️🤟
I agree with you about the Ian Anderson comment. I wouldn’t have picked up on it but once you set it it clicked. Not that we’re comparing the two there’s just a very slight similar tone. And yes Tuomas Is cute indeed.
Kiitos means 'thank you' in Finnish I think. To me to really appreciate a cover like this, you have to listen to it as the interpretation of Nightwish which is more angsty, while the Pink Floyd version is more melancholic. I have always been of the opinion that a cover should have some of the covering band's DNA in it, otherwise if it is just a reproduction of the original, what's the point.
Hi Mike, I just found your reaction to Nightwish High Hope. I'm a PF fan, not diehard one though. I, too, missed the bells and the slide guitar solo when I listened to it the first time. After hearing it numerous times I can totally understand why they left those two elements out. Imho it would have made it a cover instead of a tribute as Nightwish wanted. When you listen to the original you can hear the intensity as a under current, but never comes to the surface. I think Nightwish chose to bring that intensity to the surface. Imho having Emppu playing the solo on a slide guitar wouldn't have fit in what Nightwish wanted to accomplish with the song. That's my take on it. Great analysis, really enjoyed it.
This is easily one of the best tribute/covers to a legendary band. Floyd played it authentically to the meaning of the song vs NW but I’ll forgive that. I hope David Gilmour appreciates what they did.
@Mike Nagoda my God this guy is genius! I've never seen any other reviewer as detailed as mr Mike Nagado, yet so educational for us on the music, not many people realise marco has an operatic voice except you, sir you have much respect from me🙏😌😌😌, please do a reaction for phantom of the opera on the same concert by marco and tarja, im from malaysia btw😄🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️love you man😊😊😊
Dude, you had me fucking rolling talking about the Nightwish Army. They can be a bit intense! Gabe is the man!! I've been a big fan for only a few years so I consider myself a cadet. Maybe one day, I'll make coast guard...
From a huge Pink Floyd fan: Pink Floyd = Progressive rock Nightwish = Symphonic Metal It only makes since each band would interpret each other’s music from a different perspective. I actually prefer this version of High Hopes.
@@deeteenw That's my thought as well. But I guess it goes without saying that a rearranged tribute/cover isn't done with the intent of it being able to fit in it's original spot on the original album.
Hello, I love your technical and accurate comments, they contribute many things for those of us who do not know how to play music. I have already said it more than once when people react to this video, DO NOT take it as a cover, this is a tribute to the NW style, at least that is how I see it. Greetings
Fascinating Reaction! I think that Marko's vocal tone has "angst"...definitely remorseful...looking back on better times and all... High Hopes is one of my all-time favorites by NW... As a tribute...sounds similar yet distinctly different...Nice! 👊
It’s delightful to watch you, someone clearly a fan of the original, listen to this and give us your honest thoughts on what you like and what you maybe don’t. Nothing wrong with preferring one to the other, or liking both. Thank you for sharing your reaction with us. And since I’m here, quick pronunciation notes: Floor is pronounced the same as the the English word floor, and Tuomas has three syllables with the emphasis on the first- i.e., Tuo- rhymes with duo and the -mas is the same as in Christmas. Here’s a link to an audio sample: forvo.com/word/tuomas_holopainen/
Great reacting. As an early Floyd fan (seen this one live in Rotterdam 1994) kinda liked this at first hearing, but it wasn,t as good as the original. But that feeling didn,t lasted long............ Now i prefer this version,it just got more bite. These days i got 2 favorite bands:)
Covering Pink Floyd will always be a tight-rope act. But taking a hard left turn out of the gate, I think Nightwish have taken the right way. And talking about the guitar, Emppu has always been the guitarist of necessity, not of flashiness. Just (sometimes barely) what it needs and absolutely nothing more.
Bells schmells. I've been a Pink Floyd fan for much longer than you and I love this version. Better than the original honestly. Empuu's guitar work was impeccable.
There are a couple of moments that I can feel a Kate Bush feeling bubbling up to the surface. Thant's really not a surprise since David Gilmore played on some of her albums, got her career started and was an inspiration/influence on her. I like the way Nightwish both keeps true to and reinterprets David's parts in the song. #Nightwish #Gay Army #Pink Floyd
As guitarist you are, i will suggest 5 bands you should react to. 1st, instrumental. (non singer) ASTERISM i suggest "Dawn" live.. ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.html 2nd, Nemophila. I suggest "Monsters" ua-cam.com/video/NfWrqbjJpEU/v-deo.html 3rd, Lovebites. .. any song. But better, their last music video "Winds of Transilvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html (and live they are better, no joke) 4th. Unleash the Archers: as first song, "awakening".. ua-cam.com/video/gqUPGa15Oto/v-deo.html 5th. Band Maid. Choose the song you want.
Ever listen to Larkin Poe? A sister duo roots rock band featuring one sister on electric guitar (occasionally acoustic, banjo, or mandolin) and the other sister on slide guitar.. Great musicians and great harmonies. If you like bluesy roots rock at all they're worth a listen!
Yes, its different because this is not a cover, its a tribute. Give them a break for Petes sake, theres only three of them! lol! But I think they kept the heart of the original. Nightwish doing Nightwish things, as always! Nice reaction. I always appreciate hearing the perspectives of another musician. Keep up the good work and keep going down the NW rabbit hole...You wont regret it!!!
Nightwish don't do covers. Toumas describes this a tribute to Pink Floyd not a cover.. Which is cool, because I don't want to hear anyone try to reproduce the Pink Floyd sound... Never happen.. If I want to hear Pink Floyd, I'll listen to Pink Floyd.. If I listen to Nightwish I sure don't want to hear Pink Floyd., I want to here Nightwish.
4:00 I see you got the guess about the singer totally wrong. That's understandable when you haven't yet seen Marko's skills. I think this performance is from the very same show after which Tarja was kicked from the band with an open letter. You have to wonder if some of the facial expressions (e.g. Jukka) is about thinking about the words in the song vs what's going to happen with Tarja. You have to remember that everybody but Tarja was aware that she will be kicked from the band after the gig.
Don't feel pressured to follow Gabriel's list, it has too heavy focus on the 2013 videos, and a lot has happened since, especially in terms of vocals and multi-instruments with Troy becoming more prominent. However there are two videos that require respect and should be approached only when you have been thru at least ten songs and are aware of the backstory to them, they are "The Poet and the Pendulum" and "The Greatest show on earth". There are basically no bad songs, and with your observant ears you should have no problem going into any part of their catalogue.
Great reaction. It was Tarja's last concert. She was fired after this show. If you want to see Empuu shreddering - do "Shudder before the beautiful" live from Wembley. Fantastic show opener 😁

More than 150,000 tickets for yesterday's concert had been purchased, from a total of 108 different countries! So, it was really a global event!

I was wondering about that! Love the compassion they have for each other!
That's just something Jukka does when he doesn't play. Jukka is a badass but I can guarantee if he really had migraine there's no way he could have played the full show. It's a sweet story but completely made up on UA-cam based on someone's speculation.
@@Darnaguen Kind of like the NEMO folklore.
I almost choked laughing at your reaction to the nightwish army. WELCOME TO THE CULT lmao!
if only there was a lugh emoji i could react with
Mike, you are a good hearted decent man, i appreciate you, good reaction, stay safe
This my favorite NW song Tribute to PF.
Mr Gilmore himself said this is his favorite take on this song
Ketos means thank you In Finnish
The phrase 'not what I was expecting' is something your gonna get used to with NW ;)
For me Nightwish killed the original hier. Marco nailed it. Two outstanding guitar solos from Emppu. And obviously different from the original.
Sometimes less is more. You know that.
🤘🇫🇮🤘
High hopes... for this reaction! Good luck!
BTW, if you don't get as many views today and tomorrow, it's because of the Nightwish virtual concert that will be starting in two hours and then tomorrow evening. Love your reactions and your slide play (to my limited knowledge of the craft) sounds great!
Well that was great thankyou, look forward to seeing you do more nightwish soon.
If David approves, so do I!
@@mikenagoda They could have asked Olli Haavisto to feature as steel guitarist.
@@Idefixu who are they?
@@mikenagoda Olli Haavisto is a pedal steel guitarist, born in 1954. Has played on almost 2000 recorded songs.
Olli Haavisto "The Boston Holler" is newer stuff by him.
Vanha Isäntä "Kuuskytluvun kauan soiva blues" cover of Al Stewarts "Post World War II Blues"
Love the song, good cover. Olli on steel guitar.
Olli started with Vanha Isäntä when he was a teenager.
:))))))Amazing amazing reaction!!! :)))) LOVE YOUR WAY OF BEING BRO!!!!
Nightwish Army reporting "Floor"ida USA...
thank you for this Mike ... good analysis ... made my day ..
Marko! Jukka on drums - top performance despite a migraine caused by insomnia! Emppu shines!
THIS IS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL ? AND I AM A 68YR OLD PINK FLOYD FAN
Thanks Mike....Glad you liked it. Yep they put a metal edge on , more of a tribute than a cover .Nice catch on the Mr Screen. Kiitos is thanks in Fin. The bell would have been cool, but not Nightwishish. Be well......Miss you Syd !
Haha! "You must wait for someone named Gabriel."... Guys... I think we ARE turning into a cult. We need to tread carefully.
What a treat. Prefer it to the original.
@mike, I’m a lifelong Pink Floyd fan with Gilmore and Rogers together or separate, but I can honestly say this Nightwish tribute/cover is my favorite version of High Hopes. 🤟🤟✌️✌️🤟
Kiitos - Thank you.
Pronunciation of Floor's name is like the floor you walk on, rather than "fleur."
Kiitos, thank you for this reaction. You absolutely right, why not make metal version of Pink Floyd.
Welcome!
Kiitos = Thank you
This is easily one of the best tribute/covers to a legendary band. Floyd played it authentically to the meaning of the song vs NW but I’ll forgive that. I hope David Gilmour appreciates what they did.
@Mike Nagoda my God this guy is genius! I've never seen any other reviewer as detailed as mr Mike Nagado, yet so educational for us on the music, not many people realise marco has an operatic voice except you, sir you have much respect from me🙏😌😌😌, please do a reaction for phantom of the opera on the same concert by marco and tarja,
im from malaysia btw😄🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️love you man😊😊😊
I am no genius, but thank you for the kind words!
I absolutely love this cover...and I'm also a huge Pink Floyd fan. I actually find myself missing Marco's vocals when listening to the original!
Sorry, I should have said "tribute" (not cover)...quite right!
Dude, you had me fucking rolling talking about the Nightwish Army. They can be a bit intense! Gabe is the man!! I've been a big fan for only a few years so I consider myself a cadet. Maybe one day, I'll make coast guard...
From a huge Pink Floyd fan:
Pink Floyd = Progressive rock
Nightwish = Symphonic Metal
It only makes since each band would interpret each other’s music from a different perspective. I actually prefer this version of High Hopes.
Wait until you hear his version of Erik from Phantom of the Opera!
If you want more of the haunty voice, try "Ghost River" (Wacken 2013).
What do you think of this cover? How do you think it stacks up to Pink Floyd's original? Let me know!
As a standalone song I like the Nightwish version better, but the original fits better with the album ofc.
@@deeteenw its not realy a cover its more of a Tribute to Pink Floyd
Yessss Soooooo GOOD 🥰
MARKO AND NIGHTWISH ARE AMAZING 💕
@@deeteenw That's my thought as well. But I guess it goes without saying that a rearranged tribute/cover isn't done with the intent of it being able to fit in it's original spot on the original album.
Nightwish considers this a tribute , not a cover.
3:22 - excellent Deep Purple shoutout! You know they're my favorite, too! 🤘💜
NW Army U.S in the house.
Nice. Yeah, think you're the first one I've seen notice the screen tribute to PF also.
Great reactions!
Should take a look at Romanticide live at Wacken 2013... Really nice guitar there.
Tuomas Holopainen keybordplayer, songwriter, Marko, Emppu, Jukka from Finland.
Covering Pink Floyd will always be a tight-rope act. But taking a hard left turn out of the gate, I think Nightwish have taken the right way. And talking about the guitar, Emppu has always been the guitarist of necessity, not of flashiness. Just (sometimes barely) what it needs and absolutely nothing more.
it is an tibute not an cover only...
Yo Mike, good reaction, new subscriber here. from Nightwish Army, north east Indian division
Kitos means "Thank you" in finnish. Great rection.
Kiitos means Thank you in Finnish. :)
This is indeed not as much a cover as a tribute song to the band they love and respect.
As guitarist you are, i will suggest 5 bands you should react to.
1st, instrumental. (non singer) ASTERISM
i suggest "Dawn" live.. ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.html
2nd, Nemophila.
I suggest "Monsters" ua-cam.com/video/NfWrqbjJpEU/v-deo.html
3rd, Lovebites.
.. any song. But better, their last music video "Winds of Transilvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html
(and live they are better, no joke)
4th. Unleash the Archers:
as first song, "awakening".. ua-cam.com/video/gqUPGa15Oto/v-deo.html
5th.
Yes, I love them!
@@mikenagoda Should have known you as a slide guitarist would be familiar...
An answer to a question: Marko is a tenor
Nightwish army sorry I’m late lol but keep it up u won’t be disappointed!!!
I dont like the original but I love this. Do you really think that cover should match 1:1? This is the NW version. Guitarist from finland🇫🇮
No, I don't (I eventually came to that realization, see the end of the video)
Man, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, add Rainbow and other greats from the era, like Blue Öyster Cult
Это не пародия, это свой взгляд Туомаса на песню...он очень совпадает с моим взглядом на хорошую музыку)
Great reaction. It was Tarja's last concert. She was fired after this show. If you want to see Empuu shreddering - do "Shudder before the beautiful" live from Wembley. Fantastic show opener 😁
