Wonderful! Would have been cool to see a pic of the typewriter he's imitating, as he's imitating it. Michael is amazing. I saw him perform in the 80s, and had the extreme privilege and pleasure of meeting him, after the show. Such a delightful man. So talented. And genuine. Thank you, Michael, so very much for sharing your gift with us, and for many many many years of entertainment, and especially for the magic, music, and memories. Blessed be, gentle soul, blessed be.
I used to use a refurbished Continental Standard to type up papers for classes, just because I loved listening to the rhythmic sound of the mechanisms at work -- those old machines were practically musical instruments in their own right. And if that's so, Mr. Winslow's got an orchestra in his mouth.
ONE impression of a typewriter would be impressive. But this guy has it nuanced to different models. Crazy talent that most people wouldn't even be able to understand. Because we don't even know what these different models sound like on their own.
However his talent has nothing to do with ridiculousness. Magnificent hearing and brains to process that info and THEN, reproduce these sounds just like a machine. It`s like almost like a mutant power.
I came here because of Jimmy Pardo and never not funny but all I can wonder is why this is even in existence? Was this commissioned by Tom Hanks as a white noise track to fall asleep asleep too?
Great ! (But kinda sad this eloquent history of verbal expression ends with generations regressing to using their thumbs and emoticons to express themselves.)

He is definitely a master at his craft. Love, love, love his talent.
Michael's talent with sounds is unsurpassed by anyone. His ability is truly amazing.
On the same level as MEL BLANC
Just saw this masterpiece at the Museum of contemporary art in Rome. Never laughed so hard in a museum.
This is probably one of my favorite videos ever.
I really enjoy how he kinda powers up before the start of each.
Outstanding. Enjoyed it
I meant to do this 5 years ago... THANK YOU ;)

What an INCREDIBLE TALENT!!! You are up there in the untouchable vocal world with MEL BLANC!!
Barvo!
What's crazy is how accurate he is at that.
That’s the magic of Michael Winslow.
Those carriage returns!!!! EPIC!
You're brilliant!!!❤😊❤
I can imagine someone asking him, "Do a typewriter sound." Only for him to reply, "Okay. Which make and model do you want me to do?"
I used to use a refurbished Continental Standard to type up papers for classes, just because I loved listening to the rhythmic sound of the mechanisms at work -- those old machines were practically musical instruments in their own right. And if that's so, Mr. Winslow's got an orchestra in his mouth.
Something is missing, we should be able to listen to the real sound passing through Mike's headset, just to compare and understand the talent.
Love IBM Composer 82. The soft motor sound is amazing.
Why doesnt this have 1 million views?!!
CLOSE YOUR EYES N JUST LISTEN!!!! IT'S AMAZING!
Seriously speaking. An UNIQUE talent. What a national treasure this man is.
Amazing Sounds

I use this to fall asleep
me too :)
This got me into ASMR back in the day
This guy wished me a happy birthday once on fb.
Amazing 😉
His face is so funny as silly as this is still funny
5:33 i thought that was the whole microphone the entire time and it looked like he broke the handle off lol
The Remington Noiseless Portable (1932) at 07:38 is not so "noiseless" after all. 😅
18:49 - I heard a silencer!
Like to hear Micheal imitate car's engine ie trans am etc
Art. Fuck yeah!
Im glad to see this lol I thought this guy died years ago.
WHY? WHY WAS THIS SO COMPELLING TO WATCH???
for mee it was compelling to hear
thats impressive
it would have been even better showing us the actual models in pics!
i like the BARLOCK MOD.4
18:22 1979 IBM COMPOSER 82
😲😲😲🤯🤯🤯
👌😎👌
typewritter ASMR by Michael Winslow
this is the 1st ASMR ewer hahahaha
Omg...look at his eyeballs.
This is the most ridiculous thing on the Internet or otherwise. Still watched it.
