In the Thrawn trilogy Darth Vader almost got done in by aliens with canisters of concrete bugs. He couldn't sense them because they were cloaked, so if Katy Pride is intangable she would finish him off real quick... I HATED THAT PART OF THE STORY (it happened 2 times in story) BECAUSE A JEDI SHOULD BE ABLE TO SENSE CLOACKED INDIVIUALS UNLESS IT IS ANTI FORCE BUT THEN THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO FEEL A VOID IN SPACE/WITHIN THE FORCE, UNLESS IT WAS THE BEST TECH - BUT THAT WASN'T STATED IN ANY WAY... But there was one or two other things in that trilogy I thought Timothy Zhan didn't think about, and that's the first time I have ever felt that way about his writing.
that would be a cool story - the new version were it would be more equal since Kraven has the ability to look threw the eyes of nature to compensate for all the tech that helps the predator, because the predators mask could block this ability he has, but may not know this weakness for a time, but as they both track each other, he gets hints that his eyes are being looked threw by the one he's hunting, because he knows they are about even, but he is getting one upped witch lets him know his target has an advantage, though he did (first parts of the story) sense something was in his head when his mask was off, and never takes if off after that without closing his eyes..... Wolverine vs Predator sounds dope for a milli-secound until you realize there is no way a Predator (or alien) could kill Wolverine, but this may be the best character to face a Predator. But I am one of the few that love that Sony Ent. is making films of lesser used characters, and say what you say about Morbius, but this is what is needed, because comic books cover things in the macro (meet hero - meet villain - good beats evil) but these villains often live certain lives so it allows for stories in the micro that can explore deep into subjects glazed over when stories are form the perspective of the heroes...
It seems like nobody remembers that Hank Henshaw was a pastiche of Reed Richards. The space shuttle crew where he was captain was hit by cosmic radiation and subsequently crashed, with each of the 4 members suffering mutations similar to the Fantastic Four. I was reading the Superman weekly at that time and I thought it was Dan Jurgens giving a little nod to John Byrne since it hadn't been that long since Byrne left Superman and he was still synonymous with the FF. Also, to me as a reader at that time, it was crazy when Henshaw returned from what seemed like a one-and-done story, and then kept coming back, eventually becoming the Cyborg Superman.
Jim get your B12 level checked. It being low can lead to long term dizziness. A simple shot will get you back to mostly normal and some regular b12 sublingual will keep you there.
Wes, you need to talk about TASCHEN marvel library books, got a few already and they are releasing hulk vol 1 and avengers vol 2 and soon FF vol2, a little birdie has told me they will commit to 17 volumes per run of main book. Yes they're not cheap.
Need to watch Sonic 2, and will, but I can't wait to see Sonic 3. I haven't read any of the comics but this universe is slept on and many of the characters have great origin stories.
That would be messed up if 7:25 "the effort algerithum" existed and worked like that, but 11:46 - "the pressure algerityum" would be a good thing if that was a thing and you always pulled thru under pressure.
Plastic-Man and Hawk-Man/Hawk-Woman are dope IPS and should get far more love. Alternate universes have alternite versions of your IPS, and while some major IPS in an alternate universe should be your major IPS, the other major IPS should be your less popular IPS and new IPS that are given more stories and greater roles.... I would love to see universes were these characters had more major roles.
ON ALIENS VS AVENGERS - I haven't heard it (i don't get industry news) but I have heard multiple channels state that Marvel and D.C. keep talking about coming together again and again without ever doing so. These crossovers should be when they come together. While I do think I'd rather see them come together for Godzilla (all monsters/kiaju/mechs) stories, I still think that many other major IPS coming into contact with superheroes (big 2) is a perfect time for them to come together. All these events would have stories were they would be seperate and some would have equal or more seperate stories than together (events like this) but some would have more stories together (monsters/kiaju/mechs) because it would take the strongest form both sides to be equal the threats.
I read Civil War way more a fan of Kingdom Come. I don't get Infinity Gauntlet and Kree/Skrull War as best Avengers? They are pawns manipulated by higher forces. They don't have any real agency. Liked IG, but found K/S W tiresome one and done.
2:16:16 seriously, any Star Wars books by Ostrander (especially with Jan Duursema) is a 100% recommendation. Republic/clone wars, legacy and dawn of the Jedi are all solid. Also, gotta recommend dark times. It’s a better interpretation of post order 66 SW than the bad batch.
I have my jokes for Batman (absolute) but I never thought of Joker and that is a dope Idea. A broke Batman and a Joker who is rich and works for Wallstreet..... " But since batmans going to be the servant ("the worlds greatest dust detective") as Alfred goes out and takes care of business special forces style, I guess we won't get to many Batman vs Joker moments. Becuase that symbol on top of the staff isn't a symbol and that isn't a staff - it's a survaors camera/lens...
I'm with Jim on the alien franchise, it never did it for me. Kind of a boring sort of monster type thing so even if the book is as good as people are saying I have zero connection with them as the "bad guys". To Me the Predator franchise or even the Terminator movies involved with Marvel or DC crossovers is much more appealing.
Another great episode, but I still wish Wes was better at letting guests talk. Too many interjections at bad times when a guest is getting on a roll. At one point Dillon is asked a question, gets about five words out, and Wes is instantly talking over him. I'm not talking about when you all are just cutting loose having fun, I'm specifically talking about when guests are asked a question directly and expected to answer. And you can feel how awkward it can be sometimes, too, as they realize their time to talk is already up.
More evidence Kelley Thompson is a fake GI Joe fan, in her letter after the first issue she talks about her a fan of Scarlet she is but then says “Go Joe” instead of “Yo Joe”.
Hi Thinking Critical, I am wondering do I have to read Grant Morrison Green Lantern Run , the reason why I am asking I am collecting Green Lantern new 52 and Hal Jordan and the Green lantern corps. The reason why I am asking is the you are a big Green Lantern fan.

I want to see Preditor vs Kraven the Hunter

anti-CGC, you and me both. I've been carrying that same torch with you.

I’m always commenting that they need to “Bobby Ewing” stories in the comics. Sadly, too many titles need the Bobby Ewing treatment🤷🏼♂️

Yes, it is.
Great panel, good to see Urel back, enjoyed the shows
Glad you enjoyed it
That AB logo has no flair. I need more curves and flair!!
The Joker: I gave poor Bruce One Bad Logo.
that actually makes sense since he seems to have swapped the Bat for a Groucho 'stache.

Jim needs to live in a plastic bubble and have all his needs passed threw a small door.
Now part of me wants a Deadpool/Alien series where an alien comes out of his chest and starts breaking the 4th wall.
If anyone thought selling cgc slabs in the current market was difficult, try cbcs slabs. I completely gave up on them.

I try my best to give everyone space to answer every question while keeping the show moving. But I realize i fail more often than I should.
@Wes_From_TC To be fair, Wes, I've complained about this before and I can tell you've worked to be better. Keep at it man, I love your show.

Morrison's Green Lantern run has nothing to do with any other GL story ever told. Besides the art, it's eminently skippable.
@@Wes_From_TC Thanks for answering my Question
While the Absolute Batman’s logo is bland and not bat like, the rest of his design is really cool.
