Thanks Guru Mann sir. I too had L5/S1 disc bulge. No cyropactor facility available. I do physiotherapy exercise at home. Plus decompressing my back by hanging in chin up bar with weighted leg packs. And vitamin D, B and C is very helpful. Your back injury recovery journey and tips are helpful and inspiring. This is real journey of a body builder

1)Standing side leg raise
2)Plank
3)Side glide
4)Right hand+Left leg raised
5)Camel cat
6)Glute bridge
If you have siatica problem
Just do 3 steps
1-Take madications
2-Do hijama (cupping therapy) once a month take three session
3-Select 4 Exercise do in daily routine.
Last option if you can effort go to the chiroprector minimum for 2 months

Bhai, I started my bodybuilding / exercise/ healthy lifestyle learning from you videos from the day one it has been 4 years now. You are my Guru for my fitness. After 2,3 years I started to watch a lot of fancy youtube videos and stared doing some different style workouts but in the end of last year I started having similar issues. Core workouts help me, I didn't have pain but nerves were stretched so started having buring tingling sensations in my left arms and legs. .went to chiropractic doc he gave me glute minimus strength workouts side planks mcgrill crul ups. T burn, w for back with neck exercises and correct posture with good mind muscle connection helps me a lot and nose breathing is a must to achive optimal posture.
M glad u opened up your journey it helps me to gain strength and trust in the process.

I'm currently having disc bulge in L5-S1 disc and my physiotherapy session is going on but I don't feel much difference because I also have to go to office and travel for 2 hrs a day which already exhausts me.
I'm a sporty guy and doctor has said that it will be not a good idea to continue sports anymore and this advice is still haunting me because I'm just 24 and whole life is still remaining and i just can't afford to lose my favourite things
I'm in the same boat as you but have bad radiating pain and I'm currently losing functional ability.

Thanks a lot guru for sharing your back injury journey, it is very inspiring for other patients and a caution to the gym goers. As you said correctly, this was the way in which you treated yourself after the injury but it does not apply exactly to the other patients as well. Any patient must refer to a orthopaedic and a good phsiotherapist, not the one who only owes the degree for being physiotherapist but aslo have good knowledge , experience and passion for physiotherapy. Because it plays a very crucial role in the recovery.Also, why the same treatmnet/exercises works for some and not for the other is due to bio individuality.
My recommendation would be (for online seekers) Sukoon Physical Therapy. Do take care to listen his video completely and with full attention.
I am going through the same situation. My injury started in mid 2019 when i was doing leg press. At that time i was a beginner. Though i started working out in 2017 but i wasn't regular till late 2018. In mid 2019 while doing leg press i felt a sharp pain on my lower back at left side. i immediately stopped and stood up and after few seconds the pain was totally gone but i didn't continue to perform leg press that day. After 2-3 days i again performed leg press and again i felt the pain at exact same place so after that i stopped doing leg press thinking i might have sprained my back. Then after few days i went to other state for my post graduation and i again got irregular with my workouts but whenever i used to workout i never attempted leg press. Then due to covid i didn't worked out for more than a year and i didn't experience any pain at all. Now in mid 2021 i again started working out and this time i started lifting heavy. I started doing deadlifts and one day out of curiosity i thought of trying leg press and bang... i felt that pain at the same spot. After that i started feeling that pain frequently while leg extensions and incline treadmill walk. I ignored it for almost a year but last month in late february i started incoporating new exercises in my routine and while doing single leg RDL i felt extreme pain in left side of my lower back. The pain was travelling all over my thigh and hip. After that i finally went to an orthopedic and after MRI i got to know that i have L4-L5 buldge including S1 with Stenosis(spinal nerve compression). The orthopedic told me that surgery can fix it but as i am young now(30 yrs) so he suggested me to not go for surgery and asked me to take precautions and prescribed me painkillers and steroids. I am also from a medical background(Dentist), so knew that its a very common problem, i didn't take steroids and the very next day i consulted a Physiotherapist as i don't have any Chiropractor in my town or any nearby cities. I took physiotherapy for 15 days and 70% of pain subsided. Its been 35 days now and my pain has reduced 80%. My Physio suggested me the same exercises which Guru sir told and i am doing it every day. My physio also said that i could start working out in gym after 2-3 month with light weight and after strengthening the core and back muscle i could start lifting little bit heavy after the next 2-3 months. Right now i am even driving daily without any problem. Last week i drove 500kms in a day without any problem. I wish i would completely heal quickly and start working out again but within my limit and proper form.

I got this teeka, which you are talking about, after that i could walk. But the real game changer was this Chiropractor in Delhi, i am not exaggerating, with just 3 sessions of his my pain was reduced by 80 percent. Chiropractors are magicians

@@bhartisamuel536 actually my recent x ray shows that i have lost my l4-l5 disc which is damaged by the TB bacteria. they vanished it completely and my both vertabrae has fused together and made a single bone. Which is the same procedure of surgery that doctors would do but fortunately it recovered without surgery. and i can do my whole activity in two to three months completely. So i had a different case

I just injured my back last night great timing for the video
I got sciatica while lifting 135 kg deadlift, i felt a sensation from my lower back ( middle of hips ) to my toe , and yess i left the gym ,ran to a Chiro. My situation was level 1, i am out of pain without medicine amd surgery, it took me 3½ months ( by today 10-01-2024) and i am 80% cured !!
Now its not toe, calf,and hamstring just little bit of pain in lower back ( near tail bone) , i can bend now , i can wear shoes properly, i can drive ,
What i avoid - any kind of unnecessary bending,
And when i have to bend its more like a squat posture, wothout unnecessarily stretching my sciatic nerve ..
Hope you read this, way before going to medicine doctor, prefer chiro and live a better life , get well soon ❤
Yess, chiro cured my pain, I was able to do complete stretch, wear shoes and socks after first sitting,
But he prohibited me to do bend unnecessarily I mean why will I lift cylinder and other heavy thing from ground.
I am now even better there is just minor pain in my back ONLY!!

I too had back pain issue, I lift heavy but with in my limits and during campany working I got injured in canada. I went to chiropractor he said you need to come every 2 days for 5 min of disc adjustment. Financial was very bad I didn't have money to give chiropractor. After 4 sessions I stopped due to no money. But I tried to do stretching and less movement now I feel better ok. Soon going to hit gym back.
I can relate this to my life but in other way rather than physically.

Thanks Sir for creating belief that this can be treated naturally. I am having disc bulge at L2-L3-L4-L5 since last 3 years while adjustment position on leg press machine with weights on it. The first few days were nightmare for me, I was not able to sleep at nights due to severe pain. Then I went to doctor and he gave some medicine related to neurons which helped a lot to bring the pain down almost 50%. But till then I have no idea what was the root cause. After 1 year I took MRI and it clicked my mind that such thing happened due to my negligence at gym. And then same doctor suggested me to consult with Physiotherapist. It again helped and my pain relieved to more 20%. But after some time I used to take it casually and did not do exercises regularly. So the problem rises whenever I pick some load, bent or sit too much. Whenever I do exercise that my therapist suggested (same that you mentioned), it gives relief. But still I am not regular till now bcoz of losing faith to recover permanently. After watching your video I am getting inspiration to recover naturally.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I injured my back in 2013 while jump off a wall which was very high and injured my back due to fall(L3 disc) so what should I do i still have pain in my back and took 3 months of bed rest as advicee by doctor.pls 🙏continue this podcast and inform us... great respect to u guru mann sir 🙏 very nicely explain about your injury and how you have treated with an intellectual way. im also surviving with this issue since 4-5 months. i haven't visited any doctor for treatment and just doing some rehab excercises and yoga poses. but still the pain exists and it gets more when I do some heavy weight task or sitting in wrong posture.. seriously i've inspired by this video and I understood that I have to strictly follow the tips for the lifestyle that you have advised along with the excercises. thanks 😊

How long it took for you to heal?
It’s not fully healed, but body has gotten used to it however I occasionally get the pain back. Stretching every morning helps quite a bit.

i also had L4 injury while squat (2015) and thank god i took 6 months rest ,, no exercises,, just rehab ex. and i m fine ! and do moderate weight while exercising.
