I couldn't keep the front wheel on the ground though . I owned a Hyabusa for awhile other then the top speed it bored me. Then I had a Vstar 1100 nice cruiser surprisingly I could rip that cruiser lol. I currently own a 23 Crf300l bought for trail and some road. Damn you and all the other videos of the damn MT 09. I haven't even sat on one yet but...I am buying one! Rofl. I can't honestly see any reason not to lol. The Firestorm always creeps in my mind how fun it was was bouncing light to light. I get goosebumps thinking of these 09's. FYI I did buy the wife a MT 03. Was pretty surprised at the pep that little bastard has. Can't wait to drive the 09. Goodbye perfect driving record 😂😂😂

Had my 23' MT-09SP flashed by Vcyclenut along with DNA Stg2 filter lid and Black Widow low mount exhaust. Its like a whole new bike, its fricken rowdy! Big power improvement and powerband. The awful 2nd gear power restriction is gone, its fantastic!
I have a few bikes, all under 100 hp and all heavily modded, but I would consider myself above average ability. I’m feeling like this is the bike I need to jump to the next level with. ?? Does it catch you off guard often ? Or is it nuts but controllable ??
It’s nuts… but the electronics make it controllable. That, or you can just turn it off like most of us do and take your time learning its tendencies. It’s A BLAST TO RIDE, and I’m coming from a 4th gen zx10r

I got a duke 390 8 months ago as my first bike and just got a 2014 fz09. I promise you starting with an fz09 is the wrong choice. In retrospect i probably would have lived if i started with a 600ish bike, but i have laid it down, and I'm glad it was on a cheaper lighter slower 3-400cc bike. Imo if money is a real issue start on a 600ish and be really gentle. Otherwise go lower cc and make that bike your bish then upgrade

Thing has so much torque, and feels super powerful, but it absolutely sucks riding fast on it, wind blast galore and the front wobbles like hell. Nonetheless, super fun bike for what it is

You should check out the xsr900, same motor but slightly longer wheelbase making it a little more stable.

Just taped inside the mouth of the helmet. Taping off the vents inside the helmet helps alot too. Every helmet is different tho🤙🏼
