As an Iraq who haven't been in Iraq for more than 15 years this brings tears to my eyes.
It got me present to the greatness of these men (Imam Hussain and Imam Abas) who gave their lives hundreds of years ago for Islam and Justice. After all these years millions of people from all around the world go there to show respect. It's humbling and also a great reminder of what legacy we want to leave behind. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Amazing Shia very similar to Orthodox Christian, kiss a shrine and worship Hussein head but orthodox worship Jesus. Sunni do not do that it's very different.

When going down to the tomb of Imam Hussein, there is a continuous miracle since the killing of Imam Hussein in Karbala to this time. The miracle is that the water springs next to the tomb of Imam Hussein and circulates around it. Even in the tomb of Imam al-Abbas, water flows beside the tomb of Imam al-Abbas and circulates around it. The soil of Imam al-Hussein on the day of his murder on the tenth of Muharram turns red.

Yet they will know so much of other prophets families. And then we must question, why? And then when you learn. You realise its because of that vile evil alcoholic rapist yazid who massacred and took enjoyment in killing our prophets babies. Imagine if yhey were your children. Your grandchildren. Absolutely love your videos guys. My family are from Iraq but moved to London when I was 20 months old. I never had any memories of Iraq and despite visiting once when I was just 5 years old (again, too young!) I can only remember the odd little thing or two about it. The UK is all I’ve ever known growing up & your videos have allowed me to see my family’s home country for what it really is, not what the media portray it to be. I wish we would explain who Imam Hussain(as) and his brother Hazrat Abbas(as) is better. This was not a battle, it was the genius plan! Legendary! Imam Hussain(as) could have won the battle but he was after a continuous victory. When you know the story, you will be captured and that is the real victory.
Slowly, the story of Karbala is attracting the people, soon it will capture you. You don't know this unique army of Allah(swt).
The City of Visitors and Master of Guardians is very beautiful I suggest it to you if you are looking for beautiful places to visit

I visited Karbala in 2012, wish soo badly to go again. Such a beautiful place. I felt soo peaceful and relaxed. Totally feels like a dream. Once you have been there you will feel like going there again and again!!!

Hey, it is a holly place there can't enter inside because Imam Hussain (a.s) supreme sacrifices blood presence there for alive justice, truth, liberty, voice of voiceless in front of cruel dictator. So without knowing saying anything about the shrine inner premises having a sin and also it hurts cores of Muslims and lovers of truth.
