Even before Islamabad unilaterally broke off trade with India, the balance of trade favoured India. Pakistan has little to offer India that cannot be sourced from elsewhere. We can develop far more lucrative and stable trade relations with other countries in the South Asian region and elsewhere.
Even Afghanistan and Iran present better prospects for bilateral trade for India.
