Hi Al. I want to say God bless you. I have been watching and enjoying your shows for decades. First with In Fisherman and now with Angling Edge. I love that you share Christian values at the end of each episode. In my book, that puts you at the top of the TV fisherman hosts. Thank you so much for all that you have done and all that you continue to do. I wish I could figure out how to stream on youtube the early In Fisherman episodes to show my son. Anyway, I love Lindner's Angling Edge and I'm very grateful for your hard work and the work of everyone on the show and behind the scenes. God Bless. Rick Johnson
Hi Al: When I was a kid my amazing Mom told me to always be cautious, but kind and respectful of strangers. No preconceived ideas because they might be one of God’s angels. I’m now 70 and still treat people with this in mind. I’ve met a lot of very wonderful people and probably a few angels. God Bless!
Nice show surprised you did not catch more Northern Pike. I absolutely love Northern Pike fishing in Canada. If Diawa could do anything better is make more models in Left hand retrieve. I started with Shimano bait casting reels because of this, thanks to my Uncle who lived by Brainerd MN and told me when I was young if you are right handed that's the hand the rod should be in. I do find it funny to watch people cast right handed then put the rod in there left hand to retrieve. I also love St Croix Rods as well what brand and lb test do you like for musky fishing ? I have used Berkley XL 17lb mono for all my Northern Pike fishing and have never had one break off and always felt the line stretch helped when they surged by the boat helped me keep them hooked up, with big pike 40-47 inches. I have been wanting to try Braid for more Casting distance. TC & GB
