It hurts the prestige of being on Steam in the first place. I don't want to go back to the days where nothing could get past Valve's ludicrous restrictions, but there needs to be a middle ground so being on Steam actually has some professional meaning. I remember hearing something about how Valve themselves are well aware of all the systematic problems with Greenlight, and are looking at just entirely doing away with the thing. This was months ago now, and Greenlight still hangs around. And, really, for every game that gets in, and becomes an independent success, it seems like there's dozen of games that are, quite frankly, just half-assed clones of some more popular game, at best.
I have very little coding knowledge, but if I wanted to become a game developer, I would 1st hone my skills by making freeware titles and learn from my mistakes. And then when I feel confident enough, I would go to Greenlight.
+Marco Rocha Enter Sturgeon or Murphy's laws. Murphy's law is: For there to be good things, bad things can always happen. And Sturgeon's law is: 99% of everything is crap. Or "the crap is more apparent than the gold and gems in the pile."
Tony Davis Or in this particular case, are people with little programming knowhow, who buy assets and then make an excuse of a game and put it on Greenlight for a measly amount for a quick buck.
Cause while your way is best, it takes like a decade if you have a full time job. So any dev that started honing his skills when greenlight launched won't be there for 6 more years :p
That was an epic ending. Thanks so much Jim for trying to help Steam Greenlight. It's really sad to see it become a sort of dumping ground for shovelware. We gotten some pretty worthwhile titles from the Greenlight and it's a shame that people just kind of ignore it now.
+Jim Sterling So was that another player, or just ramblings in the place of some background music? If it was the latter, then it's definitely... unique.
I did, just right now I reported them for pretending to be a publisher, but i explained everything in the report how they are destroying Greenlight, how they are litteraly buying votes for shitty games Also i suggested Valve to create human Overwatch over greenlight (From their employees/super mods), so shitty asset flips wont get through anymore
that cutscene from kimulator was definitely made by french people. i'm french, and that's DEFINITELY one of the thickest 14 year old french accents i've heard.
I love the Shooter tactics guy's voice. I could listen to him all day. He doesn't sound real, he sounds like a character from Paul Hogan's 1980s sketch show. :)
You know what could be an interesting episode? How stupid a company like Nintendo and Atlus is for unnecessary censoring Tokyo Mirage Session and giving out BullShit reasons to why they do it. While a game called Gal Gun: Double Peace, which you never expect to get localized, is coming to the West and is completely Uncensored. Pretty much the reason why I'm buying Gal Gun Double Peace day one, because I want to Support a game and a company that has the balls to not censored there game.
Axikal Sounds like your one of those Fanboys who will defended any choice that Nintendo and Atlus make. Also if buying a game like Gal Gun Double Peace makes me a Pedo Fuck, then all of us are Psychopathic Killers then for buying games like DOOM or any other Violent game that comes out.
Im trying, I am trying really hard to learn programming so I can make games in the hopes of getting one, one very specific game, on greenlight, but as days go on more and more shit happens ruining the very idea of greenlight in people's eyes so much that I fear even if I made the best game ever who would give a shit? Who would look at greenlight pages that wasn't just trying to get free crap? Why bother?
Steam Green Light isn't the only way to get a game out there dude, don't lose hope. There are many different websites, or you could even become your own publisher and go the normal way into Steam that isn't Green Light. I don't know how that works, you might need to get a loan from the bank. You could even go buy some CD's or Memory sticks, and sell your game on E-bay or Amazon, and send some copies to reviewers you like. Make sure to get it rated for it's age though in the territories you are planning to sell in. Either way, Good luck!
I'm right there with you, but there's a method to the madness. Greenlight is not a good start. It's a good boost after your game has been released. Trying to release a game on Steam first us a risky idea, especially since you can't do it over. Get a popular thing up, get as much attention on social media or a personal website, then fucking splurge the greenlight link all over all your sites. Facebook, Twiiter, Tumblr, Snapchat, Pornhub, whatever you want to promote it, use. (I'd totally like to see someone put a game trailer on PH.). I too am trying to create multiple games, but am looking for an easier, less active way to promote work.
tgsachris even if it doesn't work out, the people you'll meet and the experience of making a game and learning something new is it's own reward. Do it because you want to. If you're passionate about something people will take notice. Some of those people may end up being lifelong friends or mentors. Don't give up. This world is shit enough, we need more people who are creative and passionate about what they do.
Jim, out of a deep respect for your work, I must ask you this: why do you place random images of shrimp in your videos? They are funny and comical, but I must ask this.
Shrimp is a prawn, and part of a prawn's waste tract is in their head. They are literally "shitheads". It is a visual gag for anyone who is aware of this :P Edit: For the record prawn is a common term, not a scientific one, but for the most part my statement holds true.
I love how he just has these bizarre masks laying around. They look surprisingly well made too. Yes, I know he almost certainly uses them in the bedroom.
Steam Greenlight is somewhat still worth it for the gems that lie in the massive pile of shit like Hand of Fate, Shovel Knight, and Cook Serve Delicious. Steam just needs to actually monitor the shit that gets thrown on there.
The bit at the end I found pretty interesting. Too bad the audio kept cutting out, but it did make me more interested in reading up on China/ Australia relations.
It's legit terrifying. China tried to buy 1/3 of Australian farms in one hit. They're doing it to secure their food source for the next century, but that didn't work out well for India in the second world war.
OMG...I wish I had come across you sooner. You really have a way with words and I love the way you make your videos. Incredibly entertaining and enjoyable.
This probably is painfully obvious, but at what point does Steam start to lose its credibility as a major video-game gatekeeper for basically ignoring the filth that gets on its storefront? Is that not a thing that could happen? Is everyone really so addicted to the Steam Summer Sale (which while still solid, isn't as generous as it once was) to collectively turn a blind eye to the shit happening to a department it's 100 percent responsible for? I think trying to cut down on the shit spewed all over the floor by mopping it up every time it gets dumped eventually will be a losing effort. At some point you gotta go after the asshole itself by doing the only thing that can affect it, cutting into its source.Which in Steam's case is its bottom line. That's neither easy nor possible for one person, or a small group of people, to do, no matter how much cred or influence you have in the game industry. But, it has to start somewhere?
+VLRgospel09 It's fantastic, though the puzzles are the weakest in the series so far. They're still great puzzles though, and the stories as good as it's ever been.
If I had to wager a guess, I'd say they take payments under the table from these devs, which they then use to buy bulk steam keys (while pocketing a cut), and the rest is what we see.
Clearly they aren't. Since calling these asset-flippers game devs is like calling someone who puts a bunch of legos together without actually making it look like anything a professional artist.
I severely doubt Jim himself would see this but I'm sure lots of folks who know him and his thoughts better than might. What does Jim think about game designers who do shitty things then over time stop doing the shitty things and start doing the right thing? I bring it up because he mentioned Klace in this review. (For those who don't know, Klace did the furry VN Major/Minor, was prima donna about negative reviews, blocked negative reviews, used some assets he shouldn't have and generally just drama) Over time though, he knocked off a lot of that nonsense. Far as I can see he doesn't do any of those things any more and now the game stands with a decently respectable rating on Steam. Now I'm not going to say he's perfect. He might do the exact same bullshit again which made Major/Minor a hard pill to swallow for a lot of people who detest such crap. but if he did change and won't act like a little shit, does Jim give those sorts a second chance? Now this is all from what I can personally see. maybe Klace is still a censoring prima donna twat and just hides it better. I'm not so naïve as to assume that could never happen. But after watching some of Jim's reviews on stuff lie DH and the YOLO Army, I wonder if he ever goes back and sees if these folk change and what happens when they do.
Ashannon888 if you still want an answer to this, Jim definitely loves a comeback story, in that he will applaud developers changing and learning to do the right thing. He isn't one who likes to hold grudges, and he would be happy to praise a developer he criticized in the past for making better decisions.
What klace did was promise a fully fleshed out vn with tons of detail, if I remember right he had it crowd funded and once it was released on steam for $5 it was nowhere close to being a finished game. After enough backlash he released a hastily done story to steam again but for $20 this time, without giving any kind of discount to the people that originally bought the $5 version
I was expecting another famous Jimquisition Steam Shame Story with Orion, but hearing about YOLO Army, I think we have the Holy Grail of Steam Shame Stories.
To continue this trend of discussing Australian politics where it is entirely inappropriate to do so, Pauline Hanson won a seat in the senate. Ugh. I feel embarrassed for our whole country.
Paul Dennett Believe me, I'm embarrassed for the world for those things as well, but that doesn't excuse Hanson's political return on the back of yet more racist policies and fear mongering.
It's nice to see that this video comes in 2nd position if you Google for "YOLO army". I like think it's helping reduce their market impact. Their Twitter feed regularly only has 1 or 2 retweets/favourites. YOLO, indeed.
Oh, you didn't see the Kim Simulator, have you? Oh ho ho you're in for a treat then. They are French Canadians probably from Montreal, doing this game, why? I don't know I thought it was a high school project or something.
1:52 Why are empty casings are being ejected out of a revolver? That's not how revolvers work. I have seen full bullets being fired from guns before (with the casing and everything) but this is a first for me.
Brian Jensen But why does that specially matter? It doesn't matter that Digital Homicide are American does it? Jim talks about shitty devs at least three times a week, he doesn't bother to mention their nationality, I don't know why him being Australian matters so much he needs to push it.
I feel dirty doing this, But despite the guy being a complete bastard he's kinda right during that little rant at the end... Same things happening here in NZ, got nothing against the Chinese but their government and our governments are happily selling alot of our infrastructure and primary industries to em. Heck only recently in my own country I believe it was a Chinese company was given ridiculous yearly water rates (rates so low it was obscene compared to what actual citizens have to pay for their water) to ship millions of liters of NZ water yearly back to china for their bottled water market (And this is just one of a many well documented through news media in NZ occurrences the last few years of this happening, and all our government says in response is, "hey its making a handful of jobs and if your against it you're just being racist"). So yes, the Wake Up dev is an asshole and this YoloArmy thing should be crushed by Steam immediately in my opinion, but that bit at the end, he's unfortunately correct in, at its basis. No conspiracy involved.
If you noticed in previous Jimquisitions, he's gone out of his way NOT to say their specific name. I assumed that is because the situation is still ongoing and he was under some kind of restriction at the time not to talk about them while it was happening. Knowing Jim, he will let everyone know when things are over and how they went. He likes his viewers to be in the know about things going on that might affect his work, transparency and whatnot.
I would, the girls are lovely. Sorry; is that sexist? It's true though. I lived in Sydney for two years, and I was like a kid in a candy store. Oops, that sexist too isn't it? Soz.
TastesLikePanda The Brits didn’t buy it - they invaded & stole it: they turned up, decided the First Nations didn’t count as people (officially classing them as ‘fauna’ in order to declare the land uninhabited & thus free for the taking by ‘real’ people) & then opted for genocide - sometimes open, other times disguised - which has continued for over 200yrs. There’s a lot of shit, scumbags & bullshit spread about in our history since then, it being written by the victors & all, & sadly shitbags like the guy in the video are not nearly as uncommon as the rest of us wish - Hell, local & federal govt’s are riddled with them, though most are savvy enough to keep such dross to implications & between the lines of their policy & public speech.
That's a good idea starting a Steam Cleanlight series! A game I recently supported managed to get through Steam Greenlight and it's rewarding to see other people enjoying a game that might not have gotten that attention. That game is Bastard Bonds if anyone is interest. It's not perfect but I haven't been able to stop playing it and it's great to see more adult theme games that isn't just about sex (though this game does that well too.)
If a game passes Greenlight, there should at least be a second a second stage that's moderated by a couple employees. Thus, instead of passing Greenlight allowing your game on the storefront, it serves as a recommendation for Valve to look at game and decide for themselves.
YOLO Army has already contacted me to accuse me of defamation.

Indie Gane devs Unite! Maybe!
Christian Neihart
We shall all unite independently! :D
So I googled Lato....
Got me thinking, maybe if a comet wiped out humanity it wouldn't be so bad?
Hail the Steam cleaner:)
Yolo army is probably a group of Dutch people.
We do everything for free.
Trust me. I'm Dutch
Did Jim just mention Klace?
POP SOME CORN, WE GONNA GET SOME FIREWORKS
I have very little coding knowledge, but if I wanted to become a game developer, I would 1st hone my skills by making freeware titles and learn from my mistakes. And then when I feel confident enough, I would go to Greenlight.
That's how literally most indie devs do it, flash games then full titles
Bishop Gale
Then how come there's an ungodly quantity of really bad games in Greenlight or smug, stupid would-be-developers?
+Marco Rocha Enter Sturgeon or Murphy's laws. Murphy's law is: For there to be good things, bad things can always happen. And Sturgeon's law is: 99% of everything is crap. Or "the crap is more apparent than the gold and gems in the pile."
Tony Davis
Or in this particular case, are people with little programming knowhow, who buy assets and then make an excuse of a game and put it on Greenlight for a measly amount for a quick buck.
The Steam Cleaner? I'd rather call you Jim Fucking Sterling Son.
I would prefer the Plague Jimor.
Jim Fucking Steam Cleaning Son
The Pipecleaner
because of valves and shit, get it?
No, better: The Jimperor!
FOR THE JIMPEROR!
it was the "...Steam Cleaner, which is a play on words..." bit that made me crease up. lolol
Judging by the name of this organization I don't think the people involved are old enough to own and operate a company.
whatwaswith thestuff at the end. china buying up austraian land is a real concern for many australians
It was not so much the problem but the weird decision to put a long droning ramble about it in a game lobby. It was just bizarre.
+Jim Sterling So was that another player, or just ramblings in the place of some background music?
If it was the latter, then it's definitely... unique.
It's all the more bizarre because it sounds like something someone in my family would bring up (I'm Australian).
+Jim Sterling Didn't you know the slickest way to spread political awareness is in a lobby for a dime-a-dozen asset flip shooter? Come oooooon
It definitely sounds like a different person
I just want to clarify that not all of us Australians are like that.
Your country banned GTAV.
*not all
that was target
tell me your not serious?
yes we are (we don't want any more people here man... come on, we're full!)
12:55 It's funny how the developer says it's "communism vs. Democrats" when he's explaining China using the worst aspects of capitalism.
and who dems are now commies
That visual gag near the end looked like a lot of effort.
Sometimes I wonder if anyone at Valve is even still alive, or if it's just a campus full of bloated corpses puppeted by machines.
It's like the think tank from fallout new vegas. All their brains are in robot chassis.
Everyone should report Yolo Army. Be right back people.
Your doing gods work!
We're giving away 20 copies of Uncharted 5 to people who report Yolo Army.
On it now.
I did, just right now
I reported them for pretending to be a publisher, but i explained everything in the report how they are destroying Greenlight, how they are litteraly buying votes for shitty games
Also i suggested Valve to create human Overwatch over greenlight (From their employees/super mods), so shitty asset flips wont get through anymore
We had the UA-cam purge, Could we please have the Steam purge?
#PurgeGreenlight
THE PURGE: Greenlight Days
What UA-cam purge?
+Wise Sage Bum/ Becoming Molehill The one where youtube deleted unactive accounts
ShuckleSweep but that doesn't fix much
that cutscene from kimulator was definitely made by french people. i'm french, and that's DEFINITELY one of the thickest 14 year old french accents i've heard.
two months later, and i still didn't change my mind. still proud to be french.
I love the Shooter tactics guy's voice. I could listen to him all day. He doesn't sound real, he sounds like a character from Paul Hogan's 1980s sketch show. :)
I think this guy would like Romper Stomper.
as a chinese-australian, i'm 110% sure this guy voted for clive palmer
Or One nation
You know what could be an interesting episode? How stupid a company like Nintendo and Atlus is for unnecessary censoring Tokyo Mirage Session and giving out BullShit reasons to why they do it. While a game called Gal Gun: Double Peace, which you never expect to get localized, is coming to the West and is completely Uncensored.
Pretty much the reason why I'm buying Gal Gun Double Peace day one, because I want to Support a game and a company that has the balls to not censored there game.
+Kyle McDaniel How is supporting Anti-Censorship a Gamergate scum thing?
is Atlus back to unnecessary censorship again? sigh. you think they would have grown out of it after the first Persona.
Yeah, you wouldn't believe the level of Censorship they did to Tokyo Mirage Session
Betuor Gripley Keep telling yourself that. you can try and defend it, but it's censorship plain an simple.
+The Aetherpunk Wow, that's good to know. Any more tips?
tgsachris even if it doesn't work out, the people you'll meet and the experience of making a game and learning something new is it's own reward. Do it because you want to. If you're passionate about something people will take notice. Some of those people may end up being lifelong friends or mentors. Don't give up. This world is shit enough, we need more people who are creative and passionate about what they do.
I like the plague doctor look, it really suits you well.
I think the Nurgle look suits Jim too.
The only game developer to have the Windows store pinned to his taskbar
Can't wait for all the inevitable Steam Cleaner fan art.
Jim, out of a deep respect for your work, I must ask you this: why do you place random images of shrimp in your videos? They are funny and comical, but I must ask this.
what shrimp
Shrimp is a prawn, and part of a prawn's waste tract is in their head.
They are literally "shitheads". It is a visual gag for anyone who is aware of this :P
Edit: For the record prawn is a common term, not a scientific one, but for the most part my statement holds true.
Dont acknowledge shrimp or else he will acknowledge you!
A what?
Don't come the raw prawn with me, boy.
Plague doctor masks are so menacing. I Really want one.
I know, right! They're so freaky!
Hey, i made the mask in the video, if you want one contact me or search on google pavelcraft etsy
Thank you !
I got one and wore it to a convention this past weekend.
As an Australian, I am very sorry for this person
"Swimming in a sea of sexual retardation"
Holy shit my sides! I don't know if it's the quote itelf or Jim's delivery, but that was fucking gold.
That nonsensical rant at the end would have been perfect if it hat been done with a british accent. And maybe a skull in the background.
The same skull just hidden in different parts on the scene
oh and he has to give it a name like a rational adult
Ahem, "WAKE UP!!! CHINA STEALING AUSTRALIA 2016 NWO PROPHECY CONFIRMED!!!!"
And have a username from a semi obscure historical leader
Joey Vellestra
It's okay, I'm glad you managed to get that off your chest.
jim did you have flowers and perfumes in that mask
Even better, he has crushed CDs of Dark Souls, Shadow of the Colossus and Silent Hill. I can counter the poisonous humors emanating from the Depths.
Wait, From the Depths is decent game :)
You only take a chance with percentages less than 50......................when it's XCOM :P
You 95% to hit....MISS! Alien 43% to hit...CRITICAL
Flacid Frank , IKR! Bothered the shit out of me haha
Sectoid used mind control, your squad killed themselves. The Earth is lost, Humanity is dead.
I never thought that LEAFY was a sectoid in disguise...that's it! No wonder humanity is doomed! :P
KafkaIs Chaznable Yeah but normally your squad members are not 7 years old.
You know Jim was just tugging it when he thought of a skit that let him wear that plague doctor mask.
Gonna go with Dr. Cleanlight I think. Jimquisition themed plague doctor mask is my favorite mask yet. 10/10
I can see it now, Viscera Cleanup Detail: Steam Greenlight
On behalf of Australians everywhere, I've gotta ask.... What the hell kind of accent is that????
Sounds like the type you'd find skulking around your local train station, scabbing ciggies.
Queenslander?
Cleve Crudgington Sounds like good old Melbourne to me.
I guess all bets are off concerning accents if the IQ gets below 60...
Maybe around the Gatwick in St Kilda, that's a meeting ground from the scum and villainy of the galaxy if I've ever seen one
My life has been changed since I saw the phrase "sea of sexual retardation" .
I think you're going to need a few more layers of rubberized coating if you're going where I think you're going
Motha-fuckin' Pyjama Sam!
The bit at the end I found pretty interesting. Too bad the audio kept cutting out, but it did make me more interested in reading up on China/ Australia relations.
Pretty sure the audio was cutting out every time Jim pressed the space bar. It said press space to mute at the top.
Large trade partners. Asian markets buying Australian property is our version of "they are taking our jobs" i.e. garbage racist rhetoric.
It's legit terrifying. China tried to buy 1/3 of Australian farms in one hit. They're doing it to secure their food source for the next century, but that didn't work out well for India in the second world war.
No, that is in the game.
Oh god... So Blind1984 talks in the match lobby screen of Wake Up... OH GOD WHY?
(Also, that guy sounds like text-to-speech)
Thank God for the Steam Cleaner!
Solid Snake: Bribes.
Kenneth Baker: I prefer to think of it as good business.
OMG...I wish I had come across you sooner. You really have a way with words and I love the way you make your videos. Incredibly entertaining and enjoyable.
I wonder where Yolo Army is now that Steam Direct is a thing and they can't boost "games" any more
Dead in a ditch.
Time to take a 15 minute break from Zero Time Dilemma.
11:53 Looks like Zero followed me here.
How is it by the way? My copy's still in Amazon purgatory.
+VLRgospel09 It's fantastic, though the puzzles are the weakest in the series so far. They're still great puzzles though, and the stories as good as it's ever been.
Insert gif of "Honey, you got a big storm coming."
1:40 “We have become what we are today” . . . great insight.
Lift up the good games? I'm glad someone thought of doing this with their popularity.
THE STEAM CLEANER!
Cleanse greenlight, purge the scum. Glory to the good games on greenlight, solider on Steam cleaner.
My question is, what is YOLO Army getting in return for doing all this?
money...
But where would the money be coming from? None of these people should have any money
If I had to wager a guess, I'd say they take payments under the table from these devs, which they then use to buy bulk steam keys (while pocketing a cut), and the rest is what we see.
+Isthisnameused that is if they actually give away keys rather than just say they do...
Might not be the same company, but I've heard that the contract you sign to get them to promote people makes you give them 20% of all profits.
1:53 I like how that revolver shoots cases up in the air like a semi-auto
That character introduction was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
I didn't know bogans were capable of game development. Blimey...
...The FUCK is a bogan?
Not that anyone would call this a developed game.
Clearly they aren't. Since calling these asset-flippers game devs is like calling someone who puts a bunch of legos together without actually making it look like anything a professional artist.
Fatfly dosn't even have Google Chrome or Firefox.
Maybe that's why he acts like he's behind the times.
I severely doubt Jim himself would see this but I'm sure lots of folks who know him and his thoughts better than might. What does Jim think about game designers who do shitty things then over time stop doing the shitty things and start doing the right thing? I bring it up because he mentioned Klace in this review. (For those who don't know, Klace did the furry VN Major/Minor, was prima donna about negative reviews, blocked negative reviews, used some assets he shouldn't have and generally just drama)
Over time though, he knocked off a lot of that nonsense.
Ashannon888 in case you STILL want a response to this....watch "a lesson in five nights(jimquisition)".
That plague doctor and suit needs to be a movie villain at some point.
To continue this trend of discussing Australian politics where it is entirely inappropriate to do so, Pauline Hanson won a seat in the senate. Ugh. I feel embarrassed for our whole country.
You shouldn't. Look at the Brexit vote, look at Trump's popularity. Every country has it's political embarrassments.
+Paul Dennett them bogans are taking over
Paul Dennett
Believe me, I'm embarrassed for the world for those things as well, but that doesn't excuse Hanson's political return on the back of yet more racist policies and fear mongering.
This bloke sounds like he was on her senate ticket.
+VARIOUS games I was just as surprised as you when I heard she won a seat. I fear for Australia.
i lost it upon hearing klace
Aww when I saw how much time was left after the thank god for Jim I was hoping for fuck konami news.
"The Steam Cleaner" is a quality pun, mate. Didn't even see it coming!
It's nice to see that this video comes in 2nd position if you Google for "YOLO army". I like think it's helping reduce their market impact. Their Twitter feed regularly only has 1 or 2 retweets/favourites. YOLO, indeed.
please tell me that kid isn`t really canadian...
French Canadian
I can smell the Québécois stench from here
Oh, you didn't see the Kim Simulator, have you? Oh ho ho you're in for a treat then. They are French Canadians probably from Montreal, doing this game, why? I don't know I thought it was a high school project or something.
First Bieber now that fuck. One more Canada and you're out.
his mama don`t like you, Ginri, and she likes everyone.
Say what you like about those of us who like console gaming but at least we're free of this Greenlight tripe XD
But without it you wouldn't get games like Shovel Knight
That "Note to self" bit at the end always kills me every time.
1:52 Why are empty casings are being ejected out of a revolver? That's not how revolvers work. I have seen full bullets being fired from guns before (with the casing and everything) but this is a first for me.
Australian here. We are good people ;_; don't like this fool get to you.
We know don't worry about it :3
I'm American and I love Australia. We all have our share of fucknuts.
Jim really seems to be pushing the "Australians are racist" stereotype, which is quite ironic from a guy who is normally quite open-minded.
Mark Davenport we'll the Dev is Australian
Brian Jensen But why does that specially matter?
It doesn't matter that Digital Homicide are American does it?
Jim talks about shitty devs at least three times a week, he doesn't bother to mention their nationality, I don't know why him being Australian matters so much he needs to push it.
The guy in the end scene sounds pretty xenophobic
And like a parianoid conspiracy theorist
Pretty sure he's all those things.
***** the Chinese don't operate with a hive mind you know.
He said "Got nothing against the Chinese but their government" So he clearly knows that
Incidentally, can anyone tell me if that whole DH lawsuit thing got sorted yet?
Not yet
If you noticed in previous Jimquisitions, he's gone out of his way NOT to say their specific name. I assumed that is because the situation is still ongoing and he was under some kind of restriction at the time not to talk about them while it was happening.
Knowing Jim, he will let everyone know when things are over and how they went. He likes his viewers to be in the know about things going on that might affect his work, transparency and whatnot.
GuyN0ir I don't think he's under a restriction per se. I think it's more along the line of not wanting to give digihom any potential ammunition.
apparently they moved to throw the case out and DH's legal team have been doing a bad job fighting it
Bender Rodríguez they have a legal team?
Jim you fool! Do you know how hard I had to squint when those gloves came off!?
There needs to be a Jim Sterling Day for all the good he's done for humanity!
That man is delusional, no one wants to buy australia, literally no one.
I would, the girls are lovely. Sorry; is that sexist? It's true though. I lived in Sydney for two years, and I was like a kid in a candy store. Oops, that sexist too isn't it? Soz.
Brits did. It was quite the fancy jail.
@@ScuffyP fuck off, creep
I am amazed at how well that impromptu costuming worked.
Not many people can swing the plague doctor with a tie look, but Jim... He pulls it off.
This makes me cry like an anime fan on prom night.
