BTW, I think that you mis-spoke earlier in the video and used the word “counterclockwise”instead of “clockwise”. You said it correctly at the end of the video. I would do the same thing on occasion after a long day back when I was teaching.

Here in the USA it's similar, we have various brands, Ideal is the most common. The red wing nuts and tan wire nuts are also common in residential use. Most electricians recommend pretwisting the wires in a clockwise manner and install the wirenuts also clockwise. I don't know about marrets, but wirenuts here are designed to be twisted clockwise. Wago lever nuts are becoming more common also, as they offer several advantages.

Great info. I have a few very low wattage led can lights that came with a pre-installed j-box and Wago type push connectors. This is the ONLY place I would feel comfortable using a Wago or any other push connector.
