okay, so here's my theory. she overthinks her life after certain circumstances (her boyfriend with whom she wanted to start a family cheated on her, her mother died, she ended up being depressed and alone in her late 20s/early 30s, when people are usually "settling down", so she feels like a failure). first, she remembers her being bullied by other kids when she was a child, for some reason, because kids are just cruel and they need a black sheep i guess. because of that she has a low self-esteem, so when she's a teenager she goes for making nude photos of herself and posting them on the internet and hanging out with older men for money, all that so she could get positive attention she's desparate to get. but because of that she feels like garbage, because she knows that the things she's doing are wrong and "love" she gets from these perverts was never real. when she starts to dance looking at these memories is my favorite moment because it shows that she doesn't see them as something to grief over, she's accepting them as a part of who she is now. because no matter how hard it was, she overcame it all. at 1:56 you can see her as an older teenager, being ashamed and depressed over her actions when she was a younger teenager. then you can see her as a younger teenager being dependent on her social media with erotic photos of her and people commenting on how "sexy" she looks (creeps). then you can see her as a child falling to the grond, presumably because someone pushed her or while she was running away from her bullies. at 2:15 you can see her as an older teenager braiding her hair, as a metaphor for starting a new chapter in life and letting the past go. then you can see her as a younger teenager dropping her phone after she saw someone posted one of her photos somewhere she didn't want it to be posted, or after someone "kindly" asked her to stop, or after people started to bully her online instead of giving compliments - the point is she regretted about her actions and realised how messed up and stupid it was. then you can see her as a child wiping the tears away, being strong. after that she and her past selves are running to the monster to defeat it. the monster is people who hurt her, her regrets, her memories, her sufferings that were dragging her down all these years. negative things she was holding to herself and ignoring are now burst out in a form of gigantic monster. you may noticed that the monster consists of negative emojis, while her gun consists of positive emojis. while the monster is much bigger, the gun is much stronger. "just disappear" is her words adressed to this monster. by killing it she decided to live further and fight, because there are still things to live for and to fight for. even though she's in a darkest place of her life, she finds hope and strength inside of her own mind to keep going. this is how i see this story and why i love the way i see it.

That's hella great mindset you have there bud. As someone who's in a much better place now compared to a year ago, on a rooftop of a building, all I could say is, sometimes you just need to let everything go, and follow the flow of life. And accept everything as "whatever happens happens" mentality, and try to think about your wildest dream and admirations. Then thinking about how to get there and what should I change about myself is the beginning to self-love and a way out of depression. Goodluck mate, whatever happens, happens. So dare to see this life to the fullest even if it seems awful at the moment.

okay, so here's my theory. she overthinks her life after certain circumstances (her boyfriend with whom she wanted to start a family cheated on her, her mother died, she ended up being depressed and alone in her late 20s/early 30s, when people are usually "settling down", so she feels like a failure). first, she remembers her being bullied by other kids when she was a child, for some reason, because kids are just cruel and they need a black sheep i guess. because of that she has a low self-esteem, so when she's a teenager she goes for making nude photos of herself and posting them on the internet and hanging out with older men for money, all that so she could get positive attention she's desparate to get. but because of that she feels like garbage, because she knows that the things she's doing are wrong and "love" she gets from these perverts was never real. when she starts to dance looking at these memories is my favorite moment because it shows that she doesn't see them as something to grief over, she's accepting them as a part of who she is now. because no matter how hard it was, she overcame it all. at 1:56 you can see her as an older teenager, being ashamed and depressed over her actions when she was a younger teenager. then you can see her as a younger teenager being dependent on her social media with erotic photos of her and people commenting on how "sexy" she looks (creeps). then you can see her as a child falling to the grond, presumably because someone pushed her or while she was running away from her bullies. at 2:15 you can see her as an older teenager braiding her hair, as a metaphor for starting a new chapter in life and letting the past go. then you can see her as a younger teenager dropping her phone after she saw someone posted one of her photos somewhere she didn't want it to be posted, or after someone "kindly" asked her to stop, or after people started to bully her online instead of giving compliments - the point is she regretted about her actions and realised how messed up and stupid it was. then you can see her as a child wiping the tears away, being strong. after that she and her past selves are running to the monster to defeat it. the monster is people who hurt her, her regrets, her memories, her sufferings that were dragging her down all these years. negative things she was holding to herself and ignoring are now burst out in a form of gigantic monster. you may noticed that the monster consists of negative emojis, while her gun consists of positive emojis. while the monster is much bigger, the gun is much stronger. "just disappear" is her words adressed to this monster. by killing it she decided to live further and fight, because there are still things to live for and to fight for. even though she's in a darkest place of her life, she finds hope and strength inside of her own mind to keep going. this is how i see this story and why i love the way i see it.
