Mary, I promise you that Bergies….which I love and think is the best store ever, does not have even a third of these pieces…I mean by all means do come visit us in NYC, but all the items you mentioned today simply weren’t there as os 4/15/24 ….it was a small alcove on the 4 th floor…maybe they order things for clients….maybe Dover Street would have something…🙂🌺🙏🏼⭐❤

Phoebe Philo doing these drops is so reminiscent of what she did for her very first collection at Céline, the resort 2010. She's basically releasing a lot of just wearable and timeless pieces to help build a wardrobe but with added full looks since resort 2010 wasn't about creating full outfits. I think when the time comes and she does her very first runway show we'll get an idea of what she intends to do with her label and the direction she wants to bring it to. Also that cape top reminds me of the scarves that she styled on the model's body for Céline F/W 2013/14. I can see her pulling some of the ideas she did there and pushing it further for her drops.

I visited Bergdorf's a couple of days ago just for the Phoebe store. Honestly there wasn't much. Only large sizes left of the less coveted items. Very limited stock. Lovely staff though!

The jacket looks fantastic on Lotta! Such a random thought but I use to think to myself “how on earth are they affording all these amazing pieces” and then I had a stint interning at a fashion magazine and realized that the editors would request looks from such and such pr firm, maybe they would say it is for a shoot or something else, but they would end up wearing the pieces to a wedding or an event. My mind was at peace finally 😆

Hi Mary love your picks😍 I guess those jeans in some color with the zippers eventually ended up in my closet🤪 I keep looking at them. I still like them more in white, but it’s just not practical. They are dragging on the model. And I am that height. Yes to maxi t shirt dress. I was watching that also. I think more wearable for my climate, but again I am confused about sizes the measurements are so huge, to the sizes. Also how thick is that t shirt dress 🤔 love that top with open back, but that’s for my previous life lol my hubby would not like that 😂 unless I wear something sheer to cover the back . I also noticed those earrings. It’s not quite me, but I think it’s edgy and interesting. So finally I purchased my first - peak sunglasses in black 😊 next month going to get bombe. I also Ike those ox blood sandals. But I don’t know if they could fit me. I am like US 11.5-12 so if 42 is not tts then no luck for me. Do you know how they run ? Oh and lately I am being obsessed with searching for Celine old archives. Got shift dress from 2010 with cream leather sleeves. Also thinking of getting a few more pieces. As much as I love PP new collections, they are still more less wearable for my SF climate. Hopefully she will do something more in the future. Haha I'm at peace knowing David will not like most of this😬 OMG congrats on the peak sunglasses they are so chic!! Ohh yeah I think it's always best to try on shoes, especially when sizing it's for sure known with her brand. Yeahh I totally feel you on the climate issue.
