I totally picked up Heartstopper because you recommended it and now I'm into it. Waiting for the next volume. I feel like you might also like Descender. It's got a bit of a Red Rising vibe.
I'm hoping to get an updated e-reader soon, one that can handle graphic formats better than basic Kindles. I'm going to check out that campfire graphic novels page now. Sounds intriguing.
What an awesome sponsorship! I love The Time Machine and I feel like they would make great Xmas gifts 🙂 I have been meaning to pick up Heartstopper, Monstress, and Deadpool 😀😀 I want to fill my graphic novel/comic/manga shelf.
@@BreakevenBooks I definitely will since you have great recs already. I picked up the Batman Knightfall series because of you and it’s so good so far 😀
I love how widely you read! I'd love to try some graphic novels with characters I've only ever seen in movies (Deadpool, Batman, etc). I know you've hyped Deadpool before, so maybe I'll start with him!
The funny thing is that I haven't been any videos where you talked about graphic novels (newish subscriber). Nevertheless, I knew you were going to say Saga. 😀 I second your recommendations for Saga, Heartstoppers and Check, Please! I really liked the graphic novel for The Handmaid's Tale and also Descended and Ascended by Jeff Lemire. Others I recommend are Alias (Marvel) and Y The Last Man.
A light and fluffy comic I loooooove is Moonstruck by Grace Ellis & Shae Beagle. There are 3 volumes out currently, and it's ongoing, but it's FUNNY, while maintaining a youthful cuteness. Also it's hella paranormal. I. LOVE. SAGA. If you love sci-fi & comics, Locke & Key is an amazing story, and it's complete. Also it's better than the Netflix adaptation. It's not quite as adult as Saga, but it's not exactly for children. Also, if you're interested in horror comics, Infidel by Pornsak Pichetshote is amazing, and touches on the horror of Islamophobia as a physical monster. So freaking good.
I love Check Please! Perfect for the cute and fluffy recommendation.
It's so good!
