    Oh man thanks for this video. If you're reading my other comment never mind lol I am taking my boy in first thing tomorrow morning. It's definitely odd that he's putting his head back like that when he's laying down

    My rescue puppy had distemper, either in utero or in his first weeks before we adopted him. He's recovered but the neurological attack left him with a tic that causes clenching and clicking of his teeth almost constantly. This has obviously caused extreme tension in his neck-to-shoulder area; there are knots and muscles are ropey-tight on all sides. I've researched neck massage techniques for dogs and have been using them. He enjoys it but after a bit, it becomes uncomfortable for him so I vary the pressure and length of time I spend in each area.
    Any suggestions on things I can do to help him?
    Note: He passed all the tests you showed in the video, and it's not affecting his balance or behavior.

    my dog is having some neck pain i thought it was his shoulder but my boyfriend figured out it’s hit neck he whimpers in pain every time he moves his neck and we’re not sure why
