This is a beautiful build, I’ve seen a bunch and really like this one.
@72151 thank you!
The best bed idea I Have seen!
Thanks @Dave-jt3lp
One of the better diy conversions with a toy hauler option. 👍💪🛠
Thank you @livingworkingoutsidebox!
You did a great job. Looks really comfortable and nice
Thank you @donitaarender7839!
I really like your conversation. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you @Bullwolf1965 !
I like the black walls with tinted windows. Makes it look a bit more stealthy. Not the greatest for keeping cool, but I still like it.
@WideCutSawmill Thank you!
Thomas kudos what a great build.
thank you
Genius build well done mate
@deepsouthNZ thank you!
I love it. great work.
Thank you
What a fantastic build! This is one of my favorite I have seen so far. I want to build a trailer out for hunting SO BAD, but they have gotten so expensive. If I build one, it will be very similar to yours, but I would build the back door ramp into an awning tent as well. Have an "indoor" space for regular stuff, and a "hunting clothing/gear" space on the ramp kind of like a wet room entrance.
Thanks @isaacmantx ! I sold this one but plan to do another build for sure. Its alot of work but definitely worth it. My next build will be a little smaller with barn doors in the back and a rear kitchen.
Very clean work.
Thank you sir!
Nice - love the beds.
@cargoon-cargoconversionbui2880 Thank you! My wife and I have watched many of your videos, great job on your conversion as well!
thanks so much!@@TomGoldenAdventures
Wow great job
thanks @magickmike6510
Great job. Only thing I saw that I would recommend would be putting a vent of some sort to stop possible water from coming in (while driving) for your fan on the ground that's right next to the battery.
@patrickscott4278 Thank you! I will put a rubber flap there to prevent water infiltration. good idea.
We use a bucket with pellets too. Best way to have a porta potty! No odor. Easy too.
@kimwomble9719 Absolutely!
So cool! We like to gravel bike and this would be perfect very nice!
Micki thank you! It would be very easy to transport your bikes in this for sure.
Nice build!!
Thanks @HacksGrandpa
Nice build 👍👍
Thanks Chuck!
Very nicely done sir I could live in that thing.. way things are going I just might end up having to build one to live in. That's what I'm looking to do I'd like to be able to keep my motorcycle with me me.
Thank you!
looks great, must've been a lot of work!
It took me most of the summer but i did it after work and on weekends.. Thank you.
Looks great Tom! How much does the trailer weigh fully loaded?
About 3400 pounds. Thanks!
Great work.... I checked your playlist and did not see any videos on the actual build? Are you considering adding A/C?
Thanks @Buzzkill67. Unfortunately I did not do any videos of the build process but will on my next one. This one sold last week.
Nice Job.... I am in the process of converting an 8x16 v-nose cargo trailer into an RV and Mobile Sign Shop. I am just starting the walls and cabinet construction. I just sold a 15-passenger shuttle bus that I lived in for 3 years and traveled out west during the winters. I had to sell the shuttle bus because I purchased a large format color printer to make contour cut decals/stickers, koozies, t-shirts, magnetics, banners, mousepads, etc. The large format color printer would have taken up a lot of storage space so I needed to get something bigger. I did a complete conversion series on the shuttle bus from the ground up and now am doing a new series on the cargo trailer conversion. They are on my YT channel.
Thanks! I will definitely check out your channel.
Great job, mine is pretty close to yours, what kind of shower pan did you use?
It is a fiberglass shower pan.
Just a tip... Place a screen on those low point drains. Good job!
Living life my way - thank you! Never thought of it but I will take your advice about the screens!
@@TomGoldenAdventures keeps a lot of bugs and wasp from clogging them up
@@livinglifemyway7349 thats the last thing I need in our water, lol. Screens getting installed tomorrow.
We have a 7x14, too. We had a local harness maker make us a "hammock" that we attached with 2x4s to the etrack using the brackets you showed. I can't figure out how to attach the pics...😢
Susan Smith- that sounds cool.
Very nice setup. I like the folding bed build, I wish you would have shown the hinge areas and locking mechanisms in more detail though. Were those standard twin mattress sized beds?
Sorry Tom disregard my msg above. The video jumped during the hinge portion on my laptop but upon re-review of your video it showed that part. Thanks
Thanks! Beds are not twins. they are 33" wide but affordable and very comfortable. I wanted the narrow beds so i could walk through them if needed. They can be pushed together for an almost full size bed. when the wife is with me. here is a link to what we bought. a.co/d/gEIwfN5
@@TomGoldenAdventures Thanks
C033 is that the one?
Couldnt u put a low profile grey water tank under ur trailwr to save room plus itd be gravity fed. As long as u stay above ur axle height u wouldnt lose any clearance. Cool conversion though man u did a good job on the windows to it looks professional grat job 👏 👍
Thanks Reggie! I certainly could add a low profile tank but really have not had the need so far.
Great build.
Personally, not a fan of the propane tank next to anything electrical. If it leaks and the fan kicks on, boom!
Thanks @lilfella67
I like your bunks. How high up off the floor are they? Now that it’s sold, can you share why you are doing another build? Was there something you wanted different from the start?
@chucknSC thanks. I just sold this one a few weeks ago. I will build another one that has a kitchen out the back next time on a smaller trailer I think. This one came out great and I enjoyed building it.
bunks were about 14- 16" off the floor.
How much? That thing is awesome! Perfect setup
Thanks @davidhenderson1738! $15,750 is what I have it listed for.
I want to add windows and a RV door lock to my trailer too but don't trust myself install them properly, any advice on who I should contact for help?
@gymwithray maybe check with your local RV dealer. they usually do repair work so may be able to help you. If not them try a cargo trailer dealer.
Soooo. You have the power panel in the same little room with your shower?
There is a wrap around shower curtain that separates the toilet area (where the panel is) and the shower.
Hi M. Nic work! Would be so kind as to share the details on your trailer choice: make, model, axle, suspension, wheels, etc. Anything you would change in that part of the build? Thank you. David
Hi David, thanks for the compliment. the trailer was a brand new Quality Cargo 7x14 tandem axle with a 7500# rating. It had leaf spring suspension and electric brakes. I believe it had 15" wheels. When I do my next build I will not buy brand new, you can save considerable $ buying a used trailer. You just have to keep your eye on the market.
@@TomGoldenAdventures Thanks Tom. Kindly, David
@@TomGoldenAdventures Tom…another question if you don’t mind. My intention is to build a trailer that will be comfortable for camping, but will also transport my GS. I am attracted to the barn door entry…as I think they “might” afford a bit more versatility. However, I need to be able to get my GS in and out with ease. Can I have both: barn doors and an easy ramp solution? Thank you, again. David
@@zebcokid2097 you can easily fabricate a swing down ramp inside the barn doors. Just get some heavy duty hinges and a latch of some sort. You will have the best of both worlds.
Freaking awesome. How much you selling for?
Thanks Dino! 16k OBO
I just subbed..Did you say West Thompson Dam? CT? I live in CT also.Hi Neighbor..If you don't mind, How much did you sell this Trailer for?
Yes We camped at Thompson Dam this year. 15k
And thank you for subscribing. I’m looking for my next trailer conversion build now
You mentioned this was for sale. Is this still available?
@rolly9531 yes it is still available.
For the water heater, where is it venting?
There is no direct vent, just the small fan next to the heater. I have seen other builds that constructed a hood to vent the heater outside or heater mounted outside but both required additional holes I was not willing to cut.
@@TomGoldenAdventures I saw the fan but wasn't sure if that is what you had it there for. I am still in the planning stages on how I would want to set mine up, so this helps a lot
@@ghostk33per no problem. Any questions let me know. I honestly don’t use the hot water very much so it is not an issue. If I planned on using it I would mount the hot water heater outside on the front in a watertight case and just open the case once camp was set up.
Your power Center right beside the sink eh
It’s far enough away.
I like it there, seems handy to me.
@@chucknSC thanks
nice to see what I have been thinking about building...for the same reasons...hunting and Raod Glide can fit in it...toy haulers are way over priced
@run4st717 Thanks and best of luck on your build!
Did you sell it? If not post a link
Yes I sold it.
Great cargo conversion. Shorten your intro. It's way too long!
Thanks @gunrunner5095. I have cut my intro to about 15 seconds on more recent videos.
