I like this duplication glitch. I so far have 16 but I attached four of my diamonds to weapons cause I didn’t read the part where you drop them on the ground if you have too many so now I have a bunch of diamonds swords
@gameislifer I have a question. Is it possible to do this as early on as possible? Like don't do all 4 regions? I ended up exploring the sky and finding the dragon island at random so I'm just wondering if it's possible

Thanks for this! You can throw dragon parts in the air and use rewind to pause them and ultra hand to snatch them outta the air and gently place them down. You can also mix and match 2 items of 2 and this trick works the same. You just have to throw each item till they disappear after going negative.

sigh i still miss the paraglider dupe from 1.0 but at least i can do this way more consistently than the old one
Some tips for this glitch (some of which were already mentioned):
For explosive items, just use recall on it before it reaches the ground.
You can also surpass the 21 item limit by fusing them together with Ultrahand. Not sure if this has a limit, but I had almost 30 on the ground before I decided to move to another item.
i just tested this! i found out you dont actually need 4 of one item, you can do multiple, like 2 lynel saber horns and two diamonds, you need to have atleast one though, and on the fuse gui, it should still reach zero, so if you have excess you'll probably want to toss them on the floor until you're done duping. i wish i could put this into better words, i hope this makes sense!
If you do this but then stop at the part where you grab 1 more item and drop it you can do a glitch I call purah pad overloading just grab the photo rune or or the fast mark and the outline should be invisible!
Thanks your last way to dupe was hard and I got it thanks, the only downside is that it doesn’t work with explosive gems or bombs
I found that with this glitch you can use the camera without the HUD, with will help me with making videos!!

You can also combine this with the dispenser storage glitch to dupe more than 21 just make sure to grab them quickly when they fall out
This is better than the other one I saw that wanted you to use a steering stick.
I think I saw that video too, it was way too complicated
But with this glitch you can really get max items in a few minutes
Also, you don’t need exactly 4 items, I tried it with a single diamond and now I have 2.

You don't need exactly 4. You just need less than 5. I did it just fine with a single one of the item I had. Works very well though!
you should make a guide on how to do a speedrun in 1.2.1, 1.2.0, 1.1.2, and 1.1.1

@@gameislifer He is right, there is no way you get to 999 items using this method. It's stupid to just compare it to the other one. You didn't get to max your items with this method, and if so, you wasted your time
Yeah no way in hell. You have 30 minutes before then fans despawn. You simply don't have the time to max items. Even if you did have the time you'd need a new set of joy cons. However this is a well known glitch and helps in a pinch.
There is something called ‚storage glitch‘(idk how its named lmao). but with that you can stack a looot of items without them despawning
@@Semio61 Man, that is no the problem, it's that you will take forever to max an item, we know dispensor storage exists. Just do a cull duplication glitch, it's not that hard.

GREAT duplication method, but would be much better if elemental items didn't explode when thrown to the ground. Still very happy for how easy it is to achieve :D
To duplicate explosive items, use the recall ability right after you throw them
I was today years old when i realised that throwing ancient blades on the ground dosnt make it explode😅
Do remember that you cannot do this with Elemental items like Lazalfos tails.

@@monikiquethey meant you can instead throw said items into the air, then use recall to stop them in their tracks and make them come back to their original position, then use ultrahand to hold them and place them in the ground without activating their elemental effect and without picking them up so you can do the glitch as shown in this video. I'm not sure this works, never tried duplicating anything, but that's what I got from their message

It applies to everything. Playing normally or not, there can't be more than 21 items on the ground

I hate how nintendo keeps patching the duping glitches. I dont have the time to grind for materials so this lets me spend more time enjoying the actual game not the grind.

Yes throw it and the use recall, recall it and as soon as you do that cancel recall, it might sound complicated but it's really easy.

Use ability recall on item
This does not work on all items. For example, fish or other similar items are not available to throw. I tried it with the hearty salmon and it was not possible. I guess it's handy to keep a couple methods on hand so unthrowables can be duped this way.
Really? This is the same method, that would take a guy hours to get anything from.
At that point just play the game, you'll at least enjoy your item collecting.

I will say it's the easiest method but by far not the quickest method. If you want to dupe more than 21 items and you can't dupe items like topaz rubies sapphires since they explode when you throw them. Other method allows that.

Yes, there is. Use the recall ability right after you throw an item to duplicate explosive items

i think u can throw them further/ higher and once u throw it, immediately use recall on it

which is the fastest method for ver 1.1.2 ? also if i dont update my game to 1.2.1 are the new glitches all possible?
99% of the time all glitches will work on past patches.
Version 1.1.2 Dupe Glitch
Step 1: Go to Tobios Hollw Chasm and go very deep (not too deep into the Depths)
Step 2: Fuse any item you want to duplicate to your multishot arrows, and shoot it above the chasm. If done properly, you will have shot your fused arrows, then the fused item will freeze.
Step 3: Shoot as many as you like, and when you run out of the item you want to dupe, go close to it. Then the duped items will fall on the ground.
Dang, I wanted to dupe some diamonds too, but I have like 70 and they'll despawn after I drop 10. If only I could put them in a chest
Oh wait I've never heard of putting them in the dispenser
First you need to jam the dispenser: Attach 2 fans together at a slight angle, place this in front of a dispenser. Now place any item in the dispenser, and the hatch should stay open. Now bring the fan in front of you up to the dispenser, and rotate it down twice, and you can jam it in. Now just place any excess items in it.
