He’s top 20 scorer in the NBA as of today. 28-4-2 on 48% shooting (not 26) in his FIRST season as a starter in 7 games. His “rough” moments are 16ppg I mean come on. He’ll be a 25-30PPG and he’s only 22 years old. He improved his passing and definitely his defense.
@@virtuallifter2438 This 100%. Cam has actually done most of his damage in the paint and in middy. This is contrast to when he had those 40 point games last season, when he was hot from downtown. That is to say, if Cam keeps his scoring now (which there's no signs pointing to why it can't) and his 3 returns to norm...his % will go up. Not to mention his % is a bit of an outlier because he's had at least 1 or 2 a game when the offense is stuck, and he gets the ball with 7 seconds or less (usually less) and is forced to take a contested three.
At some point Thomas will be looking to be a better passer and all around player. But right now the Nets need scoring if they are going to be competitive. And this is why he's getting so much playing time. Maybe that will change when Clax comes back and the Nets can be competitive on defense and won't need to rely on getting so many points from Thomas.
He shot 38% from 3 last yr. Doubt he'll be shooting 31 all yr. Also his playmaking and defense have improved alot. He could be knocking on the door of an all star berth soon
I'll say that definitely plays a factor, but even in watching film, while he has improved he still has struggled a good bit on that end. The effort is there on-ball though I'll say that.
Couldn’t believe the nets benched him for dinwiddie last year after he had three 40 point games in a row. Dinwiddie shouldn’t even be on that team at this point, trade him to another team that needs a backup vet guard
That's exactly what it was. Notice he didn't use the plus or minus against the man he is defending each game. This league has a history of scoring machines that "weren't good" on defense and other teams figured out a way how to use them.
facts, last night Nets only lost by 4 in a close game against the Bucks and Ben only had 2 pts in 3 shot attempts. If Ben can be slightly more aggressive on offense and average 8-10 ppg and keep up his great defense and rebounding that would be a huge help to this team
Damn good, just saw him come off the bench against Lakers and literally cooked them by himself. Keep him on the floor coach, you see what he’s doing..🏀💪🏼🦵🏽

He's objectively the best solo cooker in the league rn
Let him cook! 🧑🍳
Honestly this guy could be the most underrated scorer if this keeps up
47% & 31% aren’t great but I’m high on the kid and hoping he evolves to a better all around player
Gets doubled a lot because Simmons doesnt contribute on offense so teams can easily double the nets good scorers
Mitchel and booker are around 46% for their careers I would say 47% as a first time starter and really rotation player is pretty good to start
@@cameronbolden506447% as a wing is great!!!

@@virtuallifter2438 it is not. His TS% is around league average and his eFG% is below league average.
he is underrated. he deserve to be a star in nets.
Daaang he put up 45 like he’s MJ making a comeback
He’s the greatest of all time

Hope he really puts his time into develop his passing, I feel like that would open a lot up for him and the nets offense.
He’s better than Michael Jordan tbh
The most obvious take i’ve seen ever
bro try to spice it up a bit
Why am I not mad at this😂
He really is
@@sardeegamingbecause your on leBron meat
I was just looking for a video on this guy. Great breakdown
Back at it again with another banger
I can't wait to see him. He's fun to watch. Natural scorer for sure. Not finesse with his moves, but he's pure scorer!!!

Watching him defend is definitely better than watching Luka defend
W video . Found this place after the Julius randle vid and I couldn’t believe that you only had 400 som subs. Keep it up my man !!!
Greatest of all time. 🐐
Cam Thomas 🐐
Goatttyttytttt goat 🐐
45 same day you posted this 😮💨😮💨😮💨

This channel goin blow up keep up the good work man just found your channel today loving the content!!!
7:34 but that can be explained by the fact that who he’s being subbed off for (dsj, Royce O’Neill, etc.) are some of the best defenders in the league

nice to see 5 month late he developed a playmaking game

Generational scoring talent with potential to lead the league in scoring multiple times, but needs to improve on defense and playmaking.
Why would a team who doesn’t own they’re own picks until 27-28 trade one of they’re best draft picks in years lol
Man, Thomas kinda good looking though
Cam Thomas is the only player I see can be the next Kobe!
lakers one team o know woukd be happy to give this man the ball he would be just what the dr ordered for that team
45pt today 😂
I feel like this video was low key hating on Cam. Bruh, he is a walking bucket. If you don’t like Cam just say that.

Cam is our only what 😂
We have claxton
If you trade Thomas then who is going to get the 26 ppg? See Nets-Boston Saturday game. That's crazy talk.
Cam Thomas is the new Isaiah Thomas
not big a deal but bro they taught us to round up/down lol 22.7 would be 23ppg or at the very least say 22.7 but good video💯👍🏽🙏🏽
The team has a losing record when he scores 30+. He's talented.. but idk if he's a winning player in any way.
This is more on Ben who can't score this season. 4 pts lost to Bucks hurts when Ben only scored 2pts.
False narrative
The team has a losing record because the team sucks. He has to put up 30 points just to keep the score respective.
Dion waiters would be proud of cam Thomas
This is my favorite comment
better than jordan poole tbh
Future 6th man of the year
lakers shoukd be trying to get this man.
well its too late and his trade value is really high.
Nah he needs to win
Nets need more scoring from Simmons to take some of the scoring load off the other players.

No, they don’t
The Knicks lost yesterday doesnt reflect most of the game and he was major in that
I’m the 1000tg sub 😅
I’m now obligated love you
Okay false swipe gaming
He is better than Lebron James
Yes
lol
Great shooter. Bad teammate.
Better than clowns like beal and booker
