I did the Trans Pennine Trail from Southport to Hornsea over 4 days in June 2009 with my youngest lad. Cracking trip in lovely weather. We didn’t book any accommodation, just found B&B’s on the way apart from the first night when we cycled to home. Must do it again 😊
Yes i'd probably say 4 days is about right to enjoy the trip, i'm sure the trails would be a better / cleaner ride in June and much warmer🤣, B&B's / travelodge would be a good option as well👍
