My daughter has apraxia. She’s been in speech since she was 3 1/2. She’s 9 now. Still struggles with some sounds and blends but has came such a long way!
It was definitely a struggle when she was little. She got so frustrated that we didn’t understand her.
She talks nonstop now lol
I love that Wynn has such an important job at school! She's such a sweet girl!
Going thru it with my son too! He’s completely non verbal and started preschool recently. We’re in the process of getting an aac device but he wants to interact with his peers sooo bad! I’m hoping that gets easier for him!

Absolutely understand (as much as I can) how HUGE of a frustration that is for you and Will. I was constantly frustrated because my pets can't talk to me and tell me whats wrong. I cannnnnot imagine the pain and frustration having that with your children. Bless you

Our son with Apraxia didn’t talk till 3.5 years old. Also I’m in Colorado and was hoping to catch up with you.
My daughter is 5 now, and she talks a lot now. But she has Apraxia (we believe, with speech, she made a lot of improvement). But she didn't start really talking till around 4 or a bit older than that. Lots of speech. She still goes into bits of laughter when she doesn't want to talk. And she still struggles a bit. You can tell sometimes she wants to say something but it doesn't want to come out and she gets frustrated.

Emily if you guys are prone to the stomach bug look on Amazon for the emesis bags! Game changer! Maybe. a sound machine for Griffin that has ear phone so her doesn’t bother the others! Just a few thoughts! Outline their hand on the back and date..some every year!
I know Lindy can hear, but I wonder if sign language lessons would help her along with her communication device?
What app do you use to get the communion Quetion device working like what app do you put the communication thing on?
my son has words like sawyer but communication is like18 month old and he is 7 in january. its very hard.

Do your kids have a random crying moment my student who’s nonverbal had a long crying moment this morning on the way to school and any tips on calming him down I usually have Mickey Mouse or a Disney movie on through Bluetooth
It must be so hard, for them not been able to communicate.

I feel so bad for lindy. Sounds like shes getting bullied. Kids are very mean these days and some teachers dont know anything. She loves being home and shes more comfy.
I think Lindy might be going through a small separation anxiety episode. She will be fine

So Wyn has Dyslexia now
Harrison and Posey are typical means no issues
Lindy Has Speech problems but has gotten better
Griffin has Angelman syndrome
And Sawyer has autism and ADHD
