This song knocked the wind out of me I sobbed like I didn't know I needed to. I lost my mom 5 years ago to lung cancer and we released monarchs at her memorial and asked her to send them back to us. I work as a nurse in the hospital and too often I come across patients at the end of their life, either elderly or young and it's very heart breaking to see, especially when families visit. It's easy to disassociate when you're doing your job but those moments really drive home this feeling.

I can't listen to this incredible song without crying! My Mom passed away over 6 years ago to cancer. She and I made an agreement that she would communicate with me from the other side, with a single white butterfly. She has done this several times, especially during hard times in my life. My Mom passed in 2018 to cancer, we were best friends, and I told her to make sure to send me every sign possible and I had a blue (her favorite color) butterfly land on me and just hang out for awhile, I got a full video, and 2 certain cardinals that both showed up out of nowhere and hung around on 2 of the hardest days of my life. What a Beautiful song!

I just lost my dad to cancer 2 weeks ago. I've been numb since that day. He was the world to me, taught me how to be the man I am today. For the last few weeks he was with us me and my siblings all moved bake home to be his care givers. Through that time he would mostly hang out on the back deck and a humming bird everyday would come and hang out with us. And every day since it has come back when my mom is out on the dack. This song hit so close to home and made me feel for the first time again. Thank you and bless you.

This song spoke to me so sweetly. I lost my grandmother 10 years ago. After her passing I always saw a monarch butterfly and would say "Hey Grandma, I love you!" Now my boyfriend passed away 3 months ago and now I always see a pair of monarch butterflies in my front yard tree. I know for sure they are always watching over me! This song literally brought me to my knees. The most important woman in my life passed last year, March 10th, 2022. She loved butterflies more than anything, and that's literally how everyone knew her was through butterflies. My grandmother was the reason I plant flowers specifically to attract our local butterflies to reproduce in my yard. Hardest days of my life were coming to terms with her about to leave this world, and then when she actually did. I have never experienced heartache like losing my biggest idol in my life. My biggest fan and cheerleader no matter how bad I fucked up. The biggest love of my life, my grandmother. This is the PERFECT tribute song for my ANGEL 😇 ❤️

My dad passed away in 2021, he had ALS. We had a hard time with each other our whole life long, didn't see him that often during our time on earth... In the process of his going we both found peace with each other and forgiveness and brought up the courage to confess our love for each other.
I see so many people living in fear and pain, trying to mimic toughness and strengh. But we all should open up, live life with joy and love.

She too passed away of cancer. She beat it the first time but the second te came back in 4 years and she was gone in less than 2 months.

Taking care for someone you love without having the chance of survival it’s the toughest job ever and the most rewarding. Well I know how Lily suffered, because I did intensive care for my Mom 24/7 from Nov 2014 till Nov 2022. No support and not a single day off…finally God decided to send her to a nursing home, because otherwise I would have died. Even so…there are things we cannot change. I’m sure your Mom assists God now and she’s watching you every single day. Stay safe and follow your dreams, because your music brings joy and happiness to the people. I just wanted to say that we played this song at my mothers funeral this year back in April when she passed after a two year long battle with small cell carcinoma in her lungs that spread to the rest of her body. I listen to this song almost every other day, and I’m so happy that it was made because it was very beautiful and I couldn’t think of a better song to be shared at that time and to help remember that moment and feeling of saying goodbye.
You'll never get over losing your mom in the physical but believe me she's with you every step of the way.

When I heard this i immediately burst into tears. I remember my grandmother. She was very dear to me. I never got the chance to mourne her death. I was away when she died. The last time we saw each other, she made me a cup of coffee. It's always the best when she's the one making it. Our next reunion was at the cementery, 11 months after she passed away. I will never get over her and this feeling. I will always miss her.
