thats the way!! pressure filter before the bakki! , nice pond mate and good idea with the pressure filter!, it makes an excellent pre filter to the bakki which means all your bays in the bakki can be filled with biohome media with no clogging in the media ;)
Thinking of doing the exactly the same set up as you.....how is the pressure filter, I have the 25000 on a smaller pond of 5000L and it’s done an amazing job the past two years no issues and water is spot on all the time, weekly cleans by turning the handle. So am thinking the auto 75,000L on an 10,000 -on going into a baki shower with for tiers...
How did you manage to merge the coping stones with the natural stones? Is it all a liner or is it part fibreglass and then the natural stones sit on top of the coping stones?
Very nice! Could you tell me where you got yoru coping stoned from? Struggling to find ones like this. Also I see you painted the outside block work, was that a special paint to seal the block work? I am trying to avoid rendering and cladding to stay on budget and this looks really smart. Thanks mate.
Hi . Can you help me out with the pfc 50000 ltr filter . Is it from all pond solutions. Is it any good . Looking to buy one . Just want some info on how good they are . Many thanks
hi I use the Hozelock cyprio 4500lph air pump, the air pump that comes with the eazi pod is not for use externally, and as my shed is a good distance from the eazi pod I brought the hozelock which can be left outside permanently, I run 4 airstones of this 24/7 and it also connected to eazi pod for cleaning .
hi, ive tried both and would use airstone all day long, I use the round flat ceramic ones (102mm) don't go too big thou, I have 4 of these running from the air pump and its just right
Hi phil you have another new subscriber ✅ I know you are using the Rolls Royce of shower media buy the one and only pondguru, I'm wondering how much media you have per box/tray in your bakki shower and do you have a drain off in the last box/tray as its inevitable there will be some crud/build up over time. also what is the total volume of your pond. mine (well the one that came with the house we recently bought) is 12,000 litres and I'm trying to gauge how much bio filtration will suffice and then I will most likely double it 🤔
Hi, I do have another video showing the making of the bakki shower all is explained how much boo home i used , as can't remember if the top of my head. The off filter will take nearly 98% of the muck before it reaches bakki shower and then I do have the 3 grades foams before it touches the boo home, so not much will collect in bottom tray of the bakki shower, there is a drain on bottom tier should I feel the need to clean it. I estimate my pond is about 25 to 30,000 litres , I originally just had the eazipod running but have added other 2 filters since, you can never have enough filtration. Hope that helps but please check out the bakki shower video
Has anyone had trouble fitting the lid on these filters? I've just purchased cpf 50000 and o ring 3 seem too big. Just spent over 2 hours trying to get lid on and only goes into place without the o ring

Nice one, man - water looks pristine and the pressure filter will allow the shower to stay totally clean with zero maintenance.
Groovy.
thanks Richard

Wow super cool pond! Part modern, Part natural!
Beautiful pond 👍
How about the presaure filter after 2-3 years?
How did you manage to merge the coping stones with the natural stones? Is it all a liner or is it part fibreglass and then the natural stones sit on top of the coping stones?
Thinking of getting that PFC filter, would be interesting to know if it could manage on its own. What size pond is it?
I would guess it would but I'm glad I brought the auto one thou, so much easier to clean
Hey Craig I'm interested in getting one too, any update, did get one? And if so how is the performance thus far?
How reliable is that being an APS.
For 10% less you can get a Oase Filtroclear 30000. Might filter less water, but reliable for sure.

thanks for the reply, looks like a decent pump, will try pick it up. but on two minds to use a airlift tube or airstone for aeration

What pump do you use to feed the filter
Has anyone had trouble fitting the lid on these filters? I've just purchased cpf 50000 and o ring 3 seem too big. Just spent over 2 hours trying to get lid on and only goes into place without the o ring
Yes the lid is a pain to take put on i dread it each time twice a year. Its a two man job i've found
@@richd-koi i gave up on it and sent it back and purchased a screenmatic 2
Wow that’s great!!
Lovely pond do u have a bottom drain?
Hi no I don't have bottom drain just runs of 2 pumps and just give them a hose clean perhaps twice a year and tends to keep bottom muck free
Do you vactthe pond ? And how often you clean the filters out as the water quality looks great
🤘
