This was the best ever reimagining of the great film by Luc Besson. There was the one horrific one called t"The Assassin" best forgotten. However I was around when it was released so I was prepared to be sorely disappointed by this series, thankfully that was not to be as I was hooked from the very first episode. I still watch it today and it has aged well as a whole. Unlikely as it may seem but Madeline was my second favourite character. Alberta Watson played that role to perfection. I wanted to be more like her.
