I’m trying to think this through and if this were somewhere like NYC, I could actually totally see this happening. People around there take their door security pretty seriously, and if you’re trying to slip through while someone is on their way in or out, the wrong person would absolutely not have it. I think a lot of this comes from the baby guy thinking he has the authority to ask who the guy is and who he is seeing which we doesn't. Baby guy should of just said sorry man can't let you tailgate and just closed the door. He started the argument when he tried to say he has authority to check who's coming in and who they are seeing which would put anyone on the defensive if they are just seeing a friend. I live in a appartment, it happends all the time and all you have to do is say I can't let you slip in and go home. Why try be the door man to a place you have no authority over.

When my wife and I moved to our current apartment it came with a parking spot. First time we parked our car there one the neighbours angrily asked us how we dared to be there. He pointed at the signs that said "Private property" and told us we had no right to be there. We told him that this was our spot and went away. He followed us, told us he knew the guy whos spot that is and he would call the police. He followed us right to the buildings door and the moment we opened it with a key, he shut up and just went away. Next time he saw us, he was angry because we didn't tell him that we lived there and we didn't inform him about the passing of the previous tenant. I just ignored him.

To play Chad's advocate, in my exes apartment complex a man once requested entry from a woman inside the building because it was locked. The woman let him in and he proceeded to go to a random apartment and just stab a girl to death for no reason. It's however entirely more likely (especially given the camera man's demeanor) that he was in fact visiting and not their to murder this man's baby.
