This was the first day I hardened off my peppers. They are getting so big and it's time for them to go into the garden! 😉😉
I’m always reluctant to separate too. I like mint in a big pot by itself.
Mint is great to repel the bigger pests like rodents and Mr No Shoulders! That's why I wanted to separate this mint. I still plant to do it, but for some reason I changed my mind in the video. I love mint for teas! It spell so good!! Thanks for watching!!
Looking good Lisa
You are getting your plants in. Thanks for sharing your garden with us. Happy gardening
Thank you so much for watching Ms Renee!! 💕🪴🌷🌻
Your seedlings did well for their first day! Thanks for sharing.
I up potted some of those peppers and I cut off the flowers. I was hoping I could transplant them into the garden before up potting again, but I had to do it. Thanks for watching!! 😊💕🌻
Hello! Your veggies and herbs are looking great. But hey, pinch that flower off of the peppers. It's much too soon for them to flower. They're doing that because like you said, their roots are getting too much for the pot they're in and are ready to go in the ground (or be up-potted until they can safely go in the ground.) I can't believe you had 83 degree weather today, already in April, wow!! Thanks for the update. 🙂
The weather is sooo crazy!!! 80 degrees one day and 50's the next! We've had a lot of storms too. I actually didn't see it but all the pepper plants had a whole lot of flowers on them, I have cut them off and some of the plants I have up potted to bigger pots. I was hoping I could go from what they were growing in, to the garden, but the weather just not stable right now! Thank you for watching!!
Enjoy video Lisa… I’m tryin to get started… so much to do😊
Hello!! You have to start somewhere and I’m glad you got start! In gardening it is ALWAYS something to do!! It’s therapy for me! 😊😊
Good job your herbs are looking good. Yes it is best to be safe then sorry when hardening off😊
It sure is! Our weather is so unstable right now. Those peppers can not stand any cold temps at all!! Thanks for watching Ms Cynthia!! 🌻🌹🪴😊💕
👍🏽
I appreciate you tuning into my channel!!
Hey Lisa great to see you 😊 1.28 so many tiny flowers on your pepper/chilli plants your going to have a bumper crop of them ❤ Our farmers are having a real hard time planting things due to far to much rain, they were oon the National News,l really feel for them its there living. We aren't getting any sun at all just one day in weeks.Everyone on our site are struggling to keep there seedling going as its vedy cold too.Your garden is going to be amazing ❤
Hello Dear Friend!! It has been rainy and cloudy here, but nothing like what you all are experiencing! I would be so upset if I had put in all the work in getting plants to grow, but not be able to keep them alive because of lack of sunlight. 🥺🥺 Here, it will get up to 70 or 80 degrees and get down to 30's or 40's at night! Last week it got down to 36F a couple night and I didn't think about covering my potatoes and they got frost bit. They will come back thought. I know you are just itching to get into your allotment and dig in dirt!! Take your time and get prepared, because when the weather permits and you do get in there, it will be nonstop until the Fall!! Take care and I'll see you next time!! 💕🌻🌷
All the babies look lush and ready! Gorgeous starts. And I was thinking of the hardiness of mint just as you mentioned it. Hahaha my heavy hands might have taken out half those plants.
Keep up the amazing work! 🌱💓
Thanks! I love to smell mint, but if you plant it in the ground it will take over your garden. However, I feel like it will protect your food from the pests though, because most of them can't stand the smell of mint! Thank you so much for watching!! Happy gardening my friend!! 😊😊🌻🌷💕💕
Great job Ms. Lisa. I was screaming through the phone go ahead and pull that mint apart cause they don't die they multiply 😂
That was my intention when I started the video and for some reason, I just didn't feel right pulling them apart! I have pulled apart a million like Paul Roberson tomato plants apart, but I was scared to pull apart mint plants! 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ Mint will grow and take over your garden, and I do not know why I didn't want to pull it apart!! But, I will do it! 😉😉😉
Very nice. It’s okay not to break the plants apart. I sowed my herbs from seed. So far I don’t see any mint or lemon balm.😒 Thanks for sharing.😊🌱
I don't know why in the world I was so afraid to pull those plants apart!! 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ I never had any problems with them germinating. My mint germinated, but they didn't get that big and then they got drowned one time we watered it! 🤦🏽♀️😂 Lemon balm I don't have to start seeds anymore because It just comes back every year! If you can't get your seeds to germinate, just buy some plants. My coworker told me Walmart had plants cheaper than the other stores. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
@@gardeningwithlisa I may need to purchase some. I’ll check my containers today to see if I have germination. I use to have lemon balm. But like most plants it died. I saw where it was coming back. I looked again…nope. It died. I love the smell of lemon balm.
Well, last night it got down to 29 degrees. Brr. I don’t think it did a lot of damage because I didn’t have anything out in the garden yet. My chives and rurbarb are okay. Spring is coming. Take care.😊
Hello Ms Linda! We've had some really cold nights too and my potato plants got frost bit and they look bad, but they will bounce back. Stay well Ms Linda! See ya next time!! 💕💕
Hi Lias! Your plants are looking good. I have lots of plants that need up potting. They're already flowering. I started my cucumbers way too early , I need to get them in their final homes. I tried starting rosemary, mint, and lavender from seed. The lavendar is the only thing that germinated, and it only grows as fast as a rock. 😂 Thanks for sharing.
Some herbs are hard to start from seeds or they take a long time to germinate! My sister has tried over and over growing Lavender and it won't germinate for her. I need to up pot some plants too! All the ones from March that I planted needs up potting now. I had to up pot some of these pepper plants because they were root bound and the weather is so crazy, and they won't survive in the garden yet. I just can't start plants early here because our weather just will not cooperate. Good luck with everything Christine!! Thank you for watching!!
I wanted spearmint. I tried with seeds but they did not come up. I purchased a plant on ebay but it never came. Where did you buy yours?
I bought mine from Lowe’s. I heard Walmart have them cheaper. Home Depot sell them too
@@gardeningwithlisa thanks Lisa
