Even if violent crimes are a tad bit lower it means nothing. Why commit violent crimes when you can wait for next BLM protests and steal all you want, so where's the incentive to commit more daring crimes?
I'd gladly take increase in violent crimes by 10% if that means dropping all the petty crimes for 90%. That's literally old days of mafia, back when criminals were actually organized and not thugs. That was way better outcome for your average Joe compared to today, because most of those violent crimes were committed by mafia members to other mafia members.
