Cuban hooked them up with a national alcohol distributor, Southern Glazer's. Their revenue went from $250,000 in 11 months to $1.1m the following year. They went from a 1,400 sq ft facility to a 10,000 sq ft facility. They went from being in 50 stores to 400 stores.
good to hear
👏👏👏
Ty for the info, i assume its right :). Appreciate it machodan.
Thanks for the update
That's the power of Shark Tank.
i love how mark truly sees the potential in newer brands and is always looking to help them grow
Literally the whole point of the show
That's what investors do...
He sees the potential of making monayyyyy🤌💰
I mean, he is a multi-billionaire, these numbers are coins to him.
Pulling the race card either gets these sharks a tax break (diversity incentives, which will be rightfully revoked through project 2025…Google project 2025) or they are virtue signaling unfairly in a market that favors the best of the best over racism handouts
Can’t remember the last time Daymond even made an offer
He’s been outed as a scam artist with his deals too… he would retract them or cut into their equity even more Allegedly******
Lol. He wants the Sharks to make him an offer.
He has invested 47 million. True that many deals agreed in the tank don't go to contract after due diligence.
he is broke
Daymond won the lawsuit against the criminals. Daymond is 100% more of an honest man than any human in these comments will ever be. The devil tried and lied but justice prevailed for John.❤
Mark liked the product and the people even more.
Gotta love how they bring in the black card and then Damon is first to say "im out"
I could not believe it…. Idk why he’s even on the show
Didn't seem to actually be a problem for them. They just said thank you and moved on.
you sound jealous and broke 🤣 DAYMOND JOHN is good
What does one have to do with the other? stfu
I haven’t stopped watching this show & for some reason this is the most insightful for me. Thanks for the inspiration 🎉
Mark is very fair with his deals.
That's because he's a billionaire, and was one before he came on the show, so he's actually trying to help the people and companies he's investing in,and not just trying to make money off of them. Or at least that's what it seems like.
@@weaslepopperno it’s because he’s a decent human being despite being a billionaire
@@djamilawilschke7259 I thought that's what my comment was alluding to.
Not always
@@dankk_edibles really always.
I didn't know anybody else who countered Mark's offer successfully but this duo is very impressive!
Kevin's watch at 3.01 and his watch at 4:14 are different. The first one has an orange/red dial and the second one is a white face Rolex Daytona.
Indeed that is super weird, guess they pulled that second clip from a different episode? I know they edit these things like crazy but that is pretty shocking
I saw an video of Mark explaining the showing where he says the actual negotiations during these pitches take hours but heavily edit it to about 10 mins for the show. Sometimes they take breaks during the pitch . Maybe that's the case here? Either way, nice catch lol
Great eye, wonder what the red/orange dial watch is.
Im amazed at how perceptive you are lol
@@castmaven They might have started their pitch at the tail end of the filming time for the day. then they picked up where they left off the next day.
Mark adding $15k to his offer because $200k is an “easier number” 😂
They were one of the cleanest pitches I saw. Glad theyre doing well now :)
I honestly love this pitch, Mark, and of course, the couple!
BARB CALLS IN: "ALTHOUGH ITS MY DAY OFF AND FOR THAT REASON IM OUT "😮
Very impressive. Mark sat there and thought, I need these two on my team. Doesn't matter what the product is.
The dance in the end 😂👍🏻
They both have wonderful presentation skills. Very polished and well prepared.
I just got to say first off good job second off. Is the door shut that was funny as hell.😂
Bahaha " Are the doors shut?!" Ba ha ba ba ba 🕺
Love this company, especially with the wines. Hope I get a chance to see them in Chicago Target stores.
Love their energy and story !
The man is wooow 😮 life goals to have a background like that ❤
Simply put, both of them are overachievers AND completely down-to-earth, likable people. This balance is really hard to match.
Why do some people bring race into everything.. Kevin asked for target sell thru.. Their reply.. Number 2 black owned brand.. If someone asked the dude what his rank was in law school, would he say second best Black candidate of the class... That alone was a big red flag for me...
because there’s a million wine brands, and they are a newer company.. so if they said they were number 200,000 that would hold no weight to what he was asking for.
because that is what most of them do. they are obsessed with race
Remember that these pitches last around an hour and are heavily edited. It'd be hard to go into an hour long pitch and not talk about something you're proud of. It is no different then when they have a vet on, or even a country dude who loves protecting trees.
Most of us realize that's just an expression of their personality, their heritage, their lived experiences. Most of us are curious about other peoples lives and how it is different then our own. I'd be more interested to talk about why that part of it is a red flag for you. I'd be sad for myself if there were things that had zero effect on me made me think that way.
I think most do play the race card, I didn't feel that way about this couple at all. They worked hard and earned it. Hats off to them.
Can you tell a person is a veteran just by looking at him? I didn’t need to be told that they are black wine makers, I can see that.
i wish them nothing but success!
I love them though I don’t drink wine I love their story!
Shark Tank products are like As seen on TV from back in the days
Great couple and awesome presentation
Is it okay to watch at breakfast, I couldn’t wait until lunch
you eat breakfeast at noon?
I love that they already knew the number that they wanted, before Mark agreed to it.
Amazing job!
Who cares if it’s black owned? That card is so annoying. No one goes to a store, grabs a product and says “I wonder if this is white or black owned”
There’s a reason they market themselves that way. And clearly it’s worked for them.
Agreed
To be fair people actually do care. Lot of product are culture base. Lol. Even wine.
Agree
I agree up to the the mid 2000's having things like black owned and veteran owned etc means alot. In the end I care more about a good quality product that is made from a company that I can trust no matter what label they want to put. That's just me though and using those labels definitely sells more as people feel like they more of an impact supporting certain beliefs. It is simliar when you got two water bottles that both taste the same, cost the same and look the same... The only difference is one contributes to finding a cure for cancer and one just doesn't do anything like that. Mind as well pick the one who donates to cancer because it feels like you are helping to make an impact. Like one of the comments said it's very cultural based.
This is the only time where I wish mark success on his partnership with this couple.
Good for them, they seem a great couple
2:38 that kicked in quickly 😅
What a lovely, impressive young couple. Glad they got a deal!
Thank you Mark!!
"I'm not supposed to be here." Um...I think your connections in political offices + your experience as a lawyer makes you an ideal business partner.
🔥company, love to see it ✊🏾
Feels Daymond is a seat warmer.
I have a very good feeling about this couple
Mark saw that they work hard and have handled their money well...
Couples with family tend to be more successful too than just partners...
Mark believed more in their tenacity than in the business...tenacity and hunger will bring the money
Good job!
Lol all the sharks looked a bit buzzed except Mr wonderful lol
Mark's just high on the Mavs' run right now
What a lovely couple
Guy have achieved a lot at such at a young age
I love them as a coupleeeeeeeeeeeeee
Mr. Wonderful Wondry Wine… just imagine the possibilities
He seems cool as hell for a corporate lawyer
Mark was simply to the point
God these people are good f****** energy.
Glory to God. I got chills at the end. I’m so happy for them. Tears of joy.
The art of making wine is making dry wine. the art of making sweet wine is nothing more than taking the shittiest grape juice available to you fermenting it with the highest amount of alcohol content and adding purees to sweeten it up! They act like they reinvented the wheel when we actual wine makers can do the same thing
I wonder how many grams of sugar are in a bottle of this wine, these wines? Totally worth the slightly higher price for organic, all natural ingredients.
No it isn't worth it. You can get such wines in Europe for 7.99 - 14.99. This is a ripoff.
@@wolfura That's Euros, $14.99 Euros = US $16.00 (approx.), not much difference at all. Even if not Euros, so what, a couple dollars is no big deal. Further, it is higher than you say in Europe.
It's most likely chapitalized in order to get that alcohol level while also being sweet
Glad we have all gathered here for our lunch date 😊
Lol😂 so true
Black card never fails
thought they were brother and sister at first lol
I really couldn't tell if they were black or not, but thankful that they let us know out loud.
When they said No. 2 Black-owned, they lost Kevin. He's interested in the No. 2 in all colors.
I’m about so start a Hispanic wine. See if that card works for anyone else.
Why do they have to bring up that they're black? What's that got to do with making wine
Why do you care?
@mrhumble2937 because I watched the video and they said it. And now I'm asking others why it's relevant out of curiosity
@@sets876 it's a selling point for some reason. "Support black businesses" pov.
@@sets876 - There are more than 11,500+ Winemakers in the USA.... but only about 100-130 (that's just 1%) of them are Black-owned businesses... and Liquor Stores are VERY ABUNDANT in every Black neighborhood across America. So they mention they are "Black-owned" for the very same reason an Italian Restaurant Owner would mention that his family is from Italy, instead of New Jersey. >> Both these Winemakers and the Italian Restaurant Owners are trying to appeal to a certain demographic who would find that info useful when they are making a purchase decision about "what to drink (or eat)." Some folks would like to taste Italian food made by Italian Chefs. And some folks would like to taste premium wine made by Black Winemakers. And some people don't care who makes what. To each their own.
because they need the victim card to get pity from others
Mark low key asked Mr. Wonderful if he could have cocktail wine partnership. "Are you able to do something because I know you have your own wine"
NO DRINKING DURING WORK HRS…. 😂😂😂😂😅😅
They played the race card hard
"Welcome to our WINO family"??? HAHAHA!!!!!!! That's a good one!!!!!!! 🤣🍷
finally a reasonably priced product!
Best deal best wine ever Kevins gonna regret it Costco will ask for them!
Woww!!! BraVoOS!!!
This man is selling prison wine. Prunoe
Mark is the best!!!!
Wow!
Wine cocktail? Defeats the purpose of wine. Just hard a real cocktail.
Imagine being so rich that you round up by £15000 just because its an easier number
"Apple guuuud Apple Guuuuud"
A bit patronizing, these people are so serious and well-rounded and mark says that like he’s talking to a baby
Great deal for Mark. 250K is peanuts for him. But that wine business can easily be worth $100M in a few years.
What's a leequor
Daymond is the new Barbara
This company is worth more than Amazon now.
We called it strawberry boones famn back in the day!
Did this deal actually go through. Just found out even if they “make a deal” it’s not actually made lol
Most shark tank deals do not go through, but I did go through a breakup recently it's been hard man
The deal did go through. Their revenue went from $250,000 in 11 months to $1.1m the following year. They went from a 1,400 sq ft facility to a 10,000 sq ft facility. They went from being in 50 stores to 400 stores. Cuban hooked them up with a national alcohol distributor.
They don’t go through??
@@mainvayne4203 u ok
@@mainvayne4203 aw I’m sorry
I'm favoured, $60k every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America.
The economic hardship, recession, unemployment and the loss of job caused by covid pandemic is enough to push people into financial ventures.
😥😥😭😭
I'm in a similar situation where should I look to increase my income? Do you have any advice? What did you do? Thank you
Remember, investing comes with risks. It's always a good idea to consult with a financial advisor or planner to help you create a personalized investment strategy that suits your goals and risk tolerance. Good luck with your investing journey!
Thanks to my co-worker(Alex) who suggested mrs Elizabeth Regina nelsen
Is it just me or were all the Sharks a little buzzed with the wine? I swear I heard their voices slurred.
Now that’s a clever tactic lol
I hate how they add the black owned as a caviat like just say ur a brand competing like every other brand sounds so ridiculous
Chevailers du Tastevin
One observation - black businesses come in at a higher price than the market average. Black businesses have got to learn to be competitive in order to thrive.
On this one though its objective, they are adding ingredi
They ruin their pitch by playing the black card!!!
❤❤❤
Damon being the first to be out ...😢
Great way to not answer what their sale through rate is at target, a complete none answer.
Forget the black card, I am not even from the vicinity where this thing sells , I'm out.
How did I know they were going to bring out the race/black card 🙄 typical. I’m not surprised Daymond was out since all that drama with Bubba Baker..
Lol at this point Mark doesn't even care about this 'chump change'.
Daymond might as well watch these videos on youtube.
Why is Daymond still on shark tank? Need someone who’s really gonna do something for the show and invest.
Peter look drunk already
What does race have to do with anything?
Calling this wine is a stretch
Mark can get this sold in the mavs stadium by the glass and have a little stand somewhere in the stadium.
Idc if you are white, black, blue, purple etc… if your product is good it sells. I hate talking points that revolve around ethnicity.
Barbara:
I like wine, so therefore, I'm out.
Mark its more black than daymond.
Nb: for the records m black
