- My first piece of long form documentary, 'Faslane Peace Camp' is my latest film displaying the living conditions, motives and the colourful character of camp resident Willemein.
Filmed from Friday 9th November to Monday 12th November at Faslane Peace Camp and surrounding areas.
Filmed with: Panasonic G80 and DJI Mavic Pro.

I remover being a small child too except my Dad was a submariner and I would go for a swim in the pool there haha
I’m all for multilateral! nuclear disarmament. However, I don’t see how we could justify getting rid of Trident while Russia, China, NK etc still keep their nuclear weapons and are ruled by authoritarian governments.
If anyone mentions the fact that we could rely on the USA for protection, you’re essentially still arguing for nuclear weapons to deter attack (just American ones). Also, losing Trident would make Britain even more reliant on the USA and less influential on the world stage. Russia and China won’t respect a British condemnation of one of their crimes if they know Britain will hobble their national security voluntarily.
I genuinely believe everybody in the armed forces including Admirals and Generals would like a nuclear free world but it is almost a childish like situation if they have it so we have to as well, kinda makes sense though. It’s a very strange and volatile world we live in. I think one day we may have the right combination of world leaders to take steps in the right direction to dispose of their weapons.

Zank Frappa Wdeezil the reason why trident is here is to stop a nuclear attack Russia and china know a nuclear attack on the uk will mean the end for both of them that's why they aren't going to use them Because of instant retaliation.
@@argamingthomson8234 So what you are saying is that they would use them if t UK didnt have them? : unlikely: one cannot trade with a nuclear waste land...in this 'modern' age of ours no country is just going to invade others using nukes as a threat...remember theres always t USA backing us all up with about 6000 warheads...in fact t UK could just scrap Trident and let the USA b t 'bad cop' of t world!! imagine all the millions that could be pumped into a failing heathcare system, better education etc etc. It just seems an awfull waste on a weapons system that can and should never be used...i know u are going to disagree with all my points, but time will tell...God forbid (and I am not religious at all!) they get used somewhere like lets say between India and Pakistan (rising tensions again there) it is so easy escalate into a big conflagration...spelling the end of our collective future; starting fires with flints as i said a year ago...

Russia knows that a nuclear attack on the uk would be met with an a response that's why they don't do it. Trident has been keeping the peace. If you get rid of your military you are aiding the enemy Britain will give up its arsenal if everybody else did which is never going to happen. If it wasn't for trident you wouldn't have the same freedoms

If you took the footage of the base in a public place then the police have no grounds to take and delete your stuff, so i think you're making that bit up. I live in the area and see people filming all the time and all the police ever do is talk to them.
Police must have been lying to me then - they watched me delete the footage I had from the perimeter of the base and weren't particularly friendly about it either

I don’t mind protesters, but when they try and break into the UKs nuclear base that when they become a problem
