Have you even played the game? Obviously not. The fact is yes they are just him messing around but people take it as a "review" anyway. This game deserves all the praise.

Here’s the thing, I like the assassins creed games. I have black flag to Valhalla, and this video legit made me realise that I in fact DONT like the franchise, I like the IDEA of it. Sneaking around having multiple ways to kill people, either rushing in and fighting everything or sneaking around and killing the one person needed. Really gotta wonder how Metal Gear V was a better assassins creed game than assassins creed

@@latte_cream_ thank you for the suggestion, but I played the hitman games and they are not freeing enough at all. Payday 2 is more of a stealth game than hitman because Payday can have different things happen- in hitman you see after a while how constricted a lot of stuff actually is

Assassin's Creed is like the fast food of video games. It's just "good enough" to keep people coming back and playing it. Nothing it does is special, or interesting, or complex. It's just a ton of mild challenges strung together in a way that keeps players hooked for a few hours at a time.
thats literally most games. its called a casual game. there is nothing wrong with that, the problem arises when a game like this bites off more than it can chew, and that happens more often than it should in AC. the RPG trilogy is not bad tho at all, i understand why Dunkey does these videos, they are funny as fuck, but Origins is a great game. it has really great world design and exploration, and the combat feels good too.

@Chuck Buskee Enemy types arent actually the same. Sure they serve the same basic purpose, but that's with all games that use different level enemy types.
The map is SIGNIFICANTLY different than Origins. The entire landscape is completely different. Egypt was a primarily flat landscape of dunes with major cities populating around it. And few mountain regions. Odyssey is a massive landscape filled with massive parts of ocean. The map is scattered with large and small islands, it's a mainly mountain terrain with forests and snow covered regions. The cities arent the same either. I never run through Athens and think Alexandria. Sparta is extremely unique aswell. Have things been reused, absolutely. It's a way to save money, and honestly, you cant really hate on that. Do you use a different bowl everytime you eat cereal? If you eat a bowl of cereal and want another bowl, you use the same bowl, if you are going to make a game a year after the last one, you're going to reuse textures, animations etc etc. Now if you make yourself a bowl the next day, then you would grab a different one, if you spend a little more time on the game, then create new unique features. Idk why people look down on this practice. Its bitching at its finest.
Combat is actually different aswell. Sure there are some reused animations, but there are far more unique ones aswell. Combat is a bit more fast past with different abilities to use.
The armor and weapon systems have been changed aswell.
Unique skill tree and abilities.
A new unique mercenary system.
New enemy's to kill. They are part of a cult (SPOILERS) it's the Templars. Theres like 43 of them to kill.
The sheer amount of shit to do in this game is evidence enough to say it's not a cash grab. Theres a stupid amount of things to do.

Have you actually played the game? I ask because it's hard for me to wrap my head around the idea that someone could actually own both games and call them the same. Yes there are many reused features, but there are an increadible amount of unique features aswell that set this game apart from Origins.

Its because they are all the same game with minor changes, yes of course if you make a game every year you're going to need to recycle some stuff. Do you want to know the solution to this? Stop making a fucking game every year and actually try to make something fun and unique instead of just worrying about the bottom line. Which of course they don't have to do, kids are still going to keep asking for the new assassins creed game for Christmas and ubisoft is going to keep making them and they will keep making money, but you can't give them a pass on reusing stuff just because they make a game every year.

It was not the dead grandpa, it's all faked. It's an other npc from an other quest. He has disable the UI to hide the quest ( you can see the quest marker on the guy he's putting to water ). I liked his video but he's just trolling the game, it's not that buggy and it really is a good Assassin's creed compared to the previous ones.

We went from dying on contact with water, to swimming in it, to later be revived by it. The Good Franchise really progressed through the years.

Assassin's Creed was a good concept but executed horribly. The only passable one is Black Flag and 2. Do not buy these shitty games, they are part of the reason why EA continues to do these things.

The worst part is I felt the same way with that book of the dead mission, as most people stumble on that temple very early and it's literally a 3 min horse/camel ride from the start of the mission.
