Here’s the thing, I like the assassins creed games. I have black flag to Valhalla, and this video legit made me realise that I in fact DONT like the franchise, I like the IDEA of it. Sneaking around having multiple ways to kill people, either rushing in and fighting everything or sneaking around and killing the one person needed. Really gotta wonder how Metal Gear V was a better assassins creed game than assassins creed

Have you even played the game? Obviously not. The fact is yes they are just him messing around but people take it as a "review" anyway. This game deserves all the praise.

In the first game you were given a feather to literally soak it in the blood of your target as proof of the deed which was metal as fuck. In this game you touch them with the feather and they get Thanos snapped out of existence which is kinda basic ngl.

Assassin's Creed is like the fast food of video games. It's just "good enough" to keep people coming back and playing it. Nothing it does is special, or interesting, or complex. It's just a ton of mild challenges strung together in a way that keeps players hooked for a few hours at a time.
thats literally most games. its called a casual game. there is nothing wrong with that, the problem arises when a game like this bites off more than it can chew, and that happens more often than it should in AC. the RPG trilogy is not bad tho at all, i understand why Dunkey does these videos, they are funny as fuck, but Origins is a great game. it has really great world design and exploration, and the combat feels good too.

I got an assassins creed for free with my Xbox one and I played it for 30 minutes without seeing any combat, just trailing missions and cutscenes. I closed the game and haven’t played/bought an assassins creed game since.

The trails have been there since the beginning! Why does EA think they make good gameplay? I bet it's just to pad the game hours on the games.

@@puritydvoyd2978 I put AC4 on the same boat i put RE4 regarding the Resident Evil series: despite its share of mistakes and questionable design/gameplay choices, AC4 is the last truly playable and enjoyable game in the franchise before it became the plague of copy-pasted missions, assets, half-baked (and right-winged) political overtones and "time-saving" microtransactions that swallowed Ubisoft whole.

Assassin's Creed was a good concept but executed horribly. The only passable one is Black Flag and 2. Do not buy these shitty games, they are part of the reason why EA continues to do these things.
One of my favorite things about games is the obscenely powerful weapons you can acquire, like the BFG, Fierce Deity Mask, Ultima Weapon, and the feather.

When Bayek (main character) shows the feather, the assassinated target drops down on his knees, meaning that his soul is heavier than the feather, which means he will go to hell.
Of course all this stuff is fake, but in a Assassins Creed game it makes sense because there are known gods in that universe, like Juno, Jupiter and Minerva.

Jaivardhan Deshwal Origins isn't a bad game, it's just that Zelda BOTW and Horizon Zero Dawn were so good, that this pales in comparison. He gave BOTW second place, so it can't be because he hates open world games.

I said It because Ac oddysey is a mixture of Dark souls combat system and Witcher 3 open world formula. But Ac:Origins isn't as good as Witcher 3 or any souls game (even it's not good as half of them). Because of this I said that if you didn't play them ac origins can be fun. For me Ac origins was really boring.
I used to be one of those die-hard assassin's creed fans who vehemently defend whatever game ubisoft makes because it's my first AAA game, but then I grew up and realized how ubisoft keeps getting away with making the same shit over and over again. At this point, they're pandering to teens who doesn't get bored playing the same games.
