- Rep. George Santos (R-NY) is facing another effort to expel him from the House of Representatives.
Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) moved to force a vote on expulsion this week.
Santos responded to the latest expulsion vote on the House floor, saying, "the process in which the ethics committee engaged was incomplete, irresponsible, and littered with hyperbole and littered with biased opinions.
Santos is accused of several campaign and donor violations. He's also facing 23 federal charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
Members of the House have until Nov. 30th to vote.

The House bipartisan ethics overwhelming voted that he violated House rules. Read where the committee chairman is one who filed a motion to expel. He violated House Rules, which is separate from his criminal case.
How can someone with this absolute absence of integrity not understand that he lied and he stole. You've been caught. Leave with any shred of dignity that you've got for yourself.

Santos forgot to mention in his speech that the privilege to serve in Congress due to being elected by the people in that area was given to him based on his lies. It's funny how this key piece of information keeps getting left out by Santos.

@@MegAplin I'm not knocking his military service but he was guilty of beefing up himself as a war hero to appeal to the general public for votes. I also served 8 years active guard/reserve and active duty up to retirement.
Don't know why Santos spending should be a criminal case, should be an IRS audit issue and expenses either approved or denied. For instance, Congress has a standard uniform (suit & tie) so buying clothes could be a uniform expense, IRS could approve or deny. Trips to Las Vegas could be a valid trip if Santos talked with a donor at the event, IRS could approve or deny. If Santos uses his car to drive to campaign rallies, parking expense is justified, IRS could approve or deny. Santos made payments to his personal credit card from campaign funds which could be a legitimate reimbursement for campaign expenses, IRS could approve or deny. Seems like judicial system went to criminal prosecution as first option when expenses should be handled within tax forms & the IRS. Seems like targeting a person is an abuse of the judicial system.
There are rules for use of campaign funds. OnlyFans and Botox aren’t legit. If you are defending this turd, you’re on the wrong side of this problem.
