What a great rock ballad. I could imagine hearing this on some late 80's or early '90's movie soundtrack.
The voice is a gift that God has been very generous with who deserves it and makes the best of AOR.

Why does your video have still photos of John Waite?
Hi Tim! I can answer your question. ☺️☺️. It’s because he and Jonathan Cain wrote the song together and they weren’t sure it was going to make their next (at the time) Bad English record, so they wanted to have a demo of it to shop. Being that John Waite can’t very well be doing his own song demos because it would color it too much and perhaps not let future A&R reps or band managers or movie producers imaginations run wild having their artist do the song. So they hired me to come in and do it for that purpose. I was a relatively unknown singer.
